POV: Kaelira Selene closed the door. The library went from busy corridor noise to complete silence in one second, and I stayed exactly where I was, standing between the table and the chair, keeping my face the way I had learned to keep it in this palace, easy and unreadable, because whatever Selene had come here to do, the worst thing I could give her was a reaction.
