The Whole congregation was trying to figure out why Damon bailed on Ashley...people started to leave..Ashley was still on the altar crying her eyes out...her father tried consoling her but she wasn’t ready to be consoled...Part of me couldn’t help but to feel guilty...I felt part of this was my fault..If only I hadn’t meet Damon things would have been different ...Becky and I rushed to Ashley to get her ...

“Ashley please stop crying please...get up and let’s leave...Becky said

“I can’t???..I just got humiliated...how do I face life now!!!...she said as she burst into tears

“It’s not your fault...let’s go come on..Becky said as she grabbed Ashley’s hand..

We managed to bring Ashley out of the church hall ..I could tell from Ashley wailing that she was so broken and it seemed like damage beyond repair

We got Ashley to the limousine and took her back home..Ashley’s makeup had been ruined due to the wailing..throughout the ride I had guilt all over my conscience..soon we were at Ashley’s apartment...

Ashley rushed out of the vehicle before we could..she grabbed her gown and ran off into the apartment...I tried to stop her but Becky stopped me..

“I just don’t understand why he had to do that on the altar..he could have at least waited till their honey moon..Becky said

And like magic Becky was right..we rushed into the apartment to see Ashley with a knife...fortunately for us she didn’t do anything nasty...

“Leave me alone!!!!??..Derrick just bailed on me..he left me on the altar..four months with him were like heaven..now he his gone..what did I do wrong..I tried to make it perfect..I tried to be perfect ..wasn’t it enough..I can’t take this torture and shame please guys let me end this!!??...

Ashley burst into tears as she dropped the knife ?...I cuddled her as she cried..I couldn’t quite say much..because I felt I was part of this mess..Ashley kept crying with her gown on her...Becky hurried to the kitchen to get some ice cream ?...

“You’re right...he must be seeing someone else that’s the only explanation for this mess...Ashley said as he dried her tears.

I felt attacked...I felt my relationship with Ashley would soon come to an end...If Ashley finds out I am the cause of her ruin...she would literally snap. I can’t take that risk...I concluded on never seeing Damon anymore....

“Something urgent I have to attend to before the day runs out...

Perhaps I wasn’t..I made the happiest day of my best friend become a disaster...would she still call me a good friend when she finds out of my feelings towards Damon..

“How about we just watch a movie..something less romantic and more scary..so I’ll learn how to murder Damon...Ashley said with a cold eyes

Ashley Becky and I watched some series of cartoon..I could tell despite Ashley trying to be strong she was still heart broken abs holding her tears...I still felt guilty ..I couldn’t focus on the movie..I kept thinking about I and Damon conversation when we bumped into each other...”I really hope he didn’t do that for me...I hope I am not the cause of all this ...I said to my self..

Soon time was fast spent...Ashley had dozed off while watching the cartoon...Becky was still up..it was already 7:30...

“Hey I need to leave now..I said whispering at Becky trying not to wake Ashley..

I walked out of Ashley’s apartment ..I grabbed a taxi to get me back to my apartment..the ride was so devastating..I couldn’t quite get over what happened to Ashley...my whole life I have never seen Ashley that heart broken..and it’s all because of me..I was still wallowing in my thoughts and didn’t even seem to notice when I was at my apartment...

Damon left my apartment sadly..I watched he hopped in his car and drove off...I didn’t regret what I did..I couldn’t risk my relationship with Ashley:.I can’t be an hypocrite anymore..

I walked into my apartment sluggishly...I changed into my pj and made my self dinner..I layed on my bed ..staring at the ceilings..thinking of what a mess I made..thinking if the messed up things I put myself into...Marcel words ran through my mind “IF iTs MEANT TO BE IT Will BE...

I slowly closed my eyes and dozed off

The birds chipped around my window..the sun shine directly in my room..the tender morning rushed in my room..I woke up wishing my whole worries could go away..

I did some yoga ..and made of cup of tea ..I watched the street of New York as usual ...the streets of New York gave always put a smile on my face..it’s kinda odd but It always work..

I was about going to the shower when I got a call from Daniel...

I finished up with the customers and went to join the others bringing a coffee...

I went back to the counter to join Derrick and Marcel...soon time was fast spent..it was alarmed at closing hour...Marcel changed the sign and Derrick cleaned up the shop...I checked the sales of the day and it wasn’t bad at all...

I packed up the shop and grabbed a taxi home...

Soon I was home..I got into my apartment..washed up and had a little nap..I woke up at 7:30 sharp..I opened my closet to pick my outfit..I found a beautiful yellow gown with a furry coat ...I did a nice makeup and straighten out my hair ...in minutes I was done...I picked the heels I wore to Ashley’s wedding..it was the most expensive shoe I ever had and it looked very nice..I was about texting Derrick when I heard a car honking outside...

I opened my window to see who it was ..and it was Derrick ..This time he was in a different car..I walked outside to join him..Derrick was in a suite with a flower in his hands..he looked very handsome in it..his smiled as I walked towards him....

“Hello pretty lady..he said as he gave me the flowers

I walked towards the restaurants and luckily I found a waiter outside...
