Jennifer thinks after Janeth and Max's betrayal, she will never fall in love again. But the truth is that Jennifer's heart started to tremble again. "What do you think?" asked Alex.

"Nothing," Jennifer said.

The two of them were in front of a house suspected of selling contraband weapons to terrorists.

"You're older than you look," Jennifer rebuked, making Alex laugh again.

Jennifer rolled her eyes. "What are we really doing here?"

Jennifer was still confused they were out of the house so early. With sleepy eyes Jennifer followed Alex's instructions. But Jennifer didn't understand what they were really doing.

"That's Marvel's house. Steven's acquaintance. I managed to track him down," said Alex.

Jennifer remembers Marvel's name being next to Steven's in the note Alex threw in the trash she found. If I'm not mistaken, Marvel was the one who gathered the raw material for Steven's research.

"Why are we hiding here? Let's go find him immediately," Jennifer said about to get out of the car, but Alex pulled Jennifer to stay seated.

"Steven's death makes Marvel refuse to talk to anyone. He also lives a nomadic life. As if there is something he is hiding from everyone. Marvel will immediately run away if we act wrongly," said Alex.

Jennifer just found out the information. But not sure the information is correct. Because if you see Marvel looks like any other normal guy. It seems he works as a herbalist.

"How long will we be here?" Jennifer asked.

"What did you say to Marvel?" Alex asked as Marvel walked into the house.

"Secret," Jennifer answered.

Alex wanted to go after Jennifer with a few questions, but couldn't because Marvel had a hard time coming back with a bottle filled with tiny black dots.

"Drink these two before you two have s*x," said Marvel.

Alex immediately understood what Jennifer was whispering to Marvel. He immediately rolled his eyes at Jennifer. While Jennifer just smiled faintly.

"Have you lived here long?" Jennifer asked.

"No. I move around. How do you know my house?" asked Marvel.

"Asking from person to person," Jennifer answered. "My father used to go to see you often."

Alex was surprised to hear Jennifer's words. Alex is afraid that Jennifer will pretend to be Steven's daughter. Because, rumors circulating say that Marvel can find out lies.

"I'm Jennifer, Steven's daughter," Jennifer said.

Alex coded Jennifer not to lie. But it's too late.

"Is that true?" asked Marvel. He looked at Jennifer more intensely.

"Right," Jennifer answered without hesitation.

"Then try to touch this thing," said Marvel, holding out a fist-sized crystal ball.

Without hesitation Jennifer immediately touched it. The ball immediately glows red. Jennifer and Alex didn't know what the fiery red meant.

"How?" Jennifer asked.

"Forget all the past. Don't interfere in your father's business. You'd better live like a normal human. You're lucky to have a good husband. Go home, don't look for me anymore," said Marvel.

Jennifer and Alex were confused.

"Go home!" Marvel snaps.

Alex immediately pulled Jennifer to leave. But Jennifer didn't want to.

"Tell me what really happened?" Jennifer asked.

"Go home. Forget everything. Live like a normal person. Go home!" Marvel kept on shooing Jennifer away.

"I'm going home. But tell me where is Janeth?" Jennifer asked again.

"Janeth is not your brother. That woman is cursed. Stay away from that cursed woman," said Marvel. "Go home!" shouted Marvel again.

Jennifer and Alex are forced to leave, because Marvel has the wood in her hands just to shoo Jennifer and Alex away. The two of them immediately got into the car and drove away from the location of Marvel's house.

"Why did you lie and tell him you were Jennifer," Alex said.

"If you don't say that. How are you going to get him to talk," Jennifer said.

Alex sighed. Looks like the day's search was fruitless.

"But I'm curious. Why did Marvel say that Janeth is not Jennifer's sister. That woman is a cursed woman," said Jennifer.

Alex fell silent. Actually he also thought about what Marvel said. Why did Marvel say that. Marvel is not a madman even though his actions seem irrational. People say Marvel has a sixth sense. "From where?" Martha asked.

"I can kick you out of this house. Try it. You think you can order Alex." Jennifer didn't want to lose. "You are old. Your son is my age. Be aware of your position." Jennifer winked.

"Damn you w***e!" Martha shouted to grab Jennifer's hair. However, Jennifer swiftly dodged and made Martha lose her balance and fall on the floor.

"Ops. Sorry. The floor is slippery," Jennifer said and then walked away. Jennifer succeeded in making Martha feel humiliated. Sometimes such women need to be given an educational explanation.
