Deep Sadness

Justin came out after sitting in silence. Max who was hiding below also came out and stood up while moving his arms and back. Hiding under the bed is not something comfortable.

"How long are you going to act like this? Wake up!?!" rebuked Max while kicking the foot of the hospital bed that Jims was sleeping on.

Jims remained closed. Jims nose has an oxygen tube.

"Jims. You're not kidding. I didn't do anything to you. I told you not to joke," Max said again.

But Jims didn't move. Max immediately looked at the monitor screen and read Jims heart report.

"No way. This is wrong. The traitor must be here and really will kill Jims."

Max knew Jims was unconscious. Therefore, Max called the helicopter and asked to be picked up right away. There's been a change of plans. Max also asks to bring someone and imitation body. The contingency plan will be implemented at twelve o'clock in the evening.

Max immediately looked for the body bag. After meeting Max immediately released oxygen and took off the IV. Then Max put Jims in a body bag. Max turns on the helicopter radar on his watch. They have arrived. It's two minutes to twelve o'clock at night. It sounded like a hurricane, but Max knew it was helicopter blades. Footsteps were heard approaching. Someone wearing a mask carrying a body bag.

"Put it here. I'll set it up as it was. And you bring the real one right away."

The man immediately followed orders. Max focused on making Jims' imitation corpse on the bed. After looking like before. He quickly caught up to the helicopter. In a few minutes anyone will suspect if there is currently no storm. Therefore Max must get to the helicopter immediately before anyone notices it.

Max jumped up and holding on to the rope he ordered the helicopter to move. Meanwhile Max continued to climb on top of the flying helicopter. Finally Max arrived in the helicopter and immediately checked Jims health.

"We need five minutes. Before he dies. Hurry up and head straight for my safe house!" Command Max.

The helicopter immediately turned around. He landed on top of a big house. Some of the people Max contacted had come to greet him. They brought the tools needed. Max immediately gave first aid. Once Jims' heartbeat normalizes, Max asks to take Jims into the room. Follow-up treatment will be carried out soon.

"What really happened?" asked the Masked Man. Max calls him Hide.

"I don't know who did it. Someone is trying to slowly kill Jims. It's more heinous than when you kill someone directly. Cut down, dead and done. What they did was a long torture before death. I'm sure they'll accuse me of doing it."

"They are barbarians. Who exactly is this traitor?" Hide said.

Max didn't know what to say. In fact, he did suspect someone. But there is no evidence that this person actually did it. Max can't be careless. All things must be calculated properly.

"How? Did you find out where Janeth is?" Max asked.

"I saw it on the news during the Hamilton family shooting. I also found it in the police raid. Look," Hide says.

Max saw the video on Hide's cellphone. There Janeth was seen walking leisurely just before the explosion occurred. When the explosion occurred Janeth was seen smiling. It's really scary to see that smile.

"How?" asked Hide.

"Keep the video in a safe place. We've made progress. Don't forget to keep looking. I'm also going to investigate someone. After all these puzzles are assembled. We can see the face behind the mask. And if our guesses are correct. this will be the most terrible thing in the world of crime." Max is very excited to complete his tough task.

"What's your next plan?" asked Hide.

"Stay with the original plan. Carry out the tasks according to the previous position as if nothing happened."

Hide nodded. Max immediately said goodbye to return to base before sunrise. He also had to sleep even if only for an hour. Max immediately got into the car. Shadow was ready to take him back. During the journey the car being driven slowly disappeared from sight. Until the car stopped near Martha's house.

"I'm leaving," Max said.

"Be careful," said the word again that came out of Shadow's mouth. It feels like if you count it, maybe hundreds to thousands of times Shadow has said it. Even though Max wasn't a kid anymore.

Max ran fast through the woods, then he made his way to his room through the tree whose branches dangled onto the veranda of Max's room. Then Max came in. Store weapons in a safe place. Change clothes and then burn the previous clothes in the wood burning pit to warm the room. Max then got into the blankets and fell asleep right away.

The next day Max couldn't open his eyes because he was tired when Martha woke him up. Max didn't care what Martha said and chose to go back to sleep. Meanwhile elsewhere, Thomas screamed frantically for Justin.

"What is it?" Justin asked.

Thomas just pointed at Jims without being able to say anything, but Thomas's tears didn't stop flowing. Now Thomas is really like a child who was abandoned by his parents. Thomas came to check on Jims and already found Jims dead.

"Are you sure it's Jims?" Justin asked.

"You think I'm stupid!?! I'm an expert at judging whether this is a real human or an artificial corpse. Why are you even doubting me." Thomas was furious. So far he has never been angry with Justin but Justin's words can no longer be tolerated.

"I'm sorry," Justin said. While walking over and checking Jims pulse. However, there was already no movement there. jims is dead.

Everyone is grieving. Jims' death spread so quickly. Jennifer, who also learned of Jims' death, immediately ran to meet Jims one last time, but Jennifer was forbidden to come near. Until Jennifer rages and cries.

"Let Jennie in," said Thomas.

Jennifer was finally allowed in. When she saw that Jims wasn't moving, Jennifer walked over and sat beside Jims' corpse. A sense of loss welled up in Jennifer's heart. Even though there were no tears in her heart, Jennifer was crying in deep sadness of loss. Jennifer wanted to cry but the tears couldn't represent the sadness she felt. Even Jennifer is at a loss for words to express her feelings. Jennifer has lost it all.

"Crying Jennie. That would be better," said Thomas.

But Jennifer couldn't do it. Jennifer's eyes hurt as she tried to cry out. Jennifer just silently stared at Jims' body.
