Jennifer came out of her room and strolled around the mini-residential built especially for aspiring international agents. Then Jennifer accidentally saw Janeth. Nothing has changed from Janeth. The girl is cheerful and easy to get along with anyone. Unlike Jennifer, who is introverted and restricts herself from hanging out with anyone.
Jennifer sat on one of the existing benches. Then Bastian happened to pass in front of Janeth and offered him instant noodles.
"We are making noodles. In cold weather like this, it feels good to eat something with soup. You don't have to worry about the taste of kai," said Bastian.
"Okay. I'll come with you," Jennifer got up and followed Bastian's footsteps. Turns out they were a bit far from the crowd. Leo and Frans were there too.
"Hi, Jennie," said Leo. "Where's Janeth? It wouldn't be fair if you only took Jennie. I'll just pick her up."
"No. That girl is too noisy," said Bastian.
"But..." Leo stopped him. Someone tapped him on the shoulder. After turning around, it was Janeth.
"I was just about to pick you up," Leo said.
"Okay. You're the one who cares the most. Because I'm here. Let's enjoy the night," said Janeth cheerfully.
Jennifer smiled and sat down beside Bastian. Meanwhile Janeth sat between Leo and Frans.
"Wow, this looks really delicious. Can I eat these noodles too? Or should I buy some?" Janeth asked.
Bastian immediately laughed.
"Stupid. There's no shop here. Where do you want to buy it? This actually belongs to Frans. But since it's rarely eaten rather than expired, it's better if we eat together." Leo explained.
"Wow. You don't like noodles?" Janeth asked Fran.
"I like it. But it's limited," said Frans.
"What about you?" Janeth asked Jennifer.
"I can eat anything. But if I'm hungry," Jennifer replied.
"That's right. Wow, it's cooked. Let's eat," said Janeth, dividing the noodles into five parts into the plastic bowls that were provided.
Jennifer accepted happily. Jennifer's heart was at ease, because Janeth was already there. So Jennifer didn't have to look for Janeth anymore. All that was left was to reply to Max.
"Do you have a brother?" Jennifer asked.
"Not anymore. My twin sister is dead. My sister's name is Jennifer. A bit like you. But Jennifer is mute and troublesome. Jennifer is stupid too. Had a criminal boyfriend.
"Really? How about your parents?" Leo asked.
"Both of my parents were killed by my brother's lover. It turned out that he was a member of a terrorist who we would hunt down if he passed the qualifications," said Janeth.
Hearing the story, Frans immediately choked. Dating a terrorist member is not trivial. That means the secret agents know Janeth.
"What is your father's name?" asked France.
"My dad is Steven. A famous researcher."
"You mean Steven who was killed for creating the forbidden liquid?" Bastian was very surprised.
"Right. You know Fran too?" Janeth asked.
Frank nodded.
"Jennifer's boyfriend killed everyone I knew. Jennifer included. My house was also burned. I was taken to the terrorists' headquarters and almost became the object of their experiment. Luckily I managed to escape." Janeth took a deep breath.
"I didn't expect to meet Steven's family here. You must be still traumatized by what happened," said Frans, starting to be sympathetic.
"Sure. That's why I joined here to avenge their actions. I will not forgive that person," said Janeth.
Jennifer just listened quietly. Everything Janeth said was true. Everything that happened was Jennifer's fault. If only Jennifer had never known Max. Maybe the suffering will never happen.
"Why are you silent. Who is your father?" Janeth asked Jennifer.
"Eat the noodles in your hands, Janeth. If it's cold it won't taste good." Frans changed the subject. Frans knew that Jennifer was still grieving over Jims' death. If anyone asked, Frans was worried that he would see Jennifer cry. He didn't want to see the sadness in Jennifer's eyes.
"Thank you," Janeth said as she started eating the noodles and quickly finished them.
Jennifer collected the bowl and placed it on the ground. After that Jennifer helped Frans light a bonfire to keep them warm.
"I heard there will be archery practice tomorrow. Can you do it?" asked France.
Jennifer nodded. Suddenly Jennifer's ears heard footsteps from the darkness. Whereas behind them is a forest and a limit for anyone who is practicing. Jennifer immediately took the gun at her feet. Frans, who realized Jennifer's attitude, immediately listened. He also heard the sound of slow footsteps in the darkness. Even though it was faint, there was the sound of gun movement.
"Take cover!" Jennifer shouted, jumping behind a fallen tree. Fran also jumped. While the other reflex jumps and takes cover.
Gunshots were heard. Several bullets hit the tree. And leaves on the ground. It seemed they weren't just one person. Jennifer glanced at where all her friends were hiding.
The atmosphere is quiet for a moment. The chattering voices of prospective international agents were not heard. But Jennifer could see their shadows approaching with guns. Jennifer breathed a sigh of relief they weren't alone.
"Is this your first time shooting a real one?" Francis whispered to Jennifer.
Jennifer nodded.
"Just imagine they were the ones who hurt you. Don't hesitate."
Jennifer nodded again. The gun in Jennifer's hand tightened even more. Because the footsteps are getting closer. Frans could count how many people there were in the darkness. Then he gave the code the number of people with his hand. All about ten people. The friends who had approached and were ready to fight were already prepared. It just so happened that Leo saw the shoes of one of them attack. Without hesitation Leo shot so the other enemies also attacked. A shootout ensued. Jennifer and Janeth managed to kill one of the enemies.
The gunfire only stopped after Thomas came and killed all the enemies in the darkness with just one shot.
"Good job. You are all amazing!" shouted Thomas. "Everyone stand up and line up. Next is our job. But you have to pay attention to study. Got it!?!"
"Ready!" everyone shouted at the same time.
Michael and his men went straight into the darkness. Not long after, they came back with some corpses that turned out to be dolls. Eight people marked terrorist. The rest read hostage. Seeing that everyone understood that what just happened was just a simulation.
"Your cooperation was good. However, the hostage died too. You have to make sure that the enemy doesn't take any hostages. How do you do that? Lure them to a brighter place to be sure."
Everyone including Jennifer could only say yes. Jennifer did not think that what they shot was only a robot. So sophisticated. They move very smoothly and are similar to the original.
