Alex's Room

Police and forensic team secured the location where the body was found. Alex was busy talking to a policeman. Meanwhile, Jennifer waited for the bodies to be evacuated nervously. When the body bag made it to the top. Jennifer came closer.

"Is this corpse Jennifer?" Jennifer's voice trembled at the mention of her own name.

"This is a provisional assumption. The autopsy results will explain everything," said one of the forensics team.

Jennifer looked at the body bag that was put in the car. Several teams left immediately. Meanwhile, the police are still investigating the location. Hoping for more evidence to be found.

Along with the busy night. Seen a car one of the private televisions arrived at the location. The news spread so fast. They come with complete broadcasting equipment. Jennifer took a few steps back. Jennifer shook her head. Alex will not hide the two objects. Finally Jennifer decided to go where the accident happened. She immediately went to the street and looked for a taxi. Luckily it wasn't hard to find a taxi in the area. So that within ten minutes, Jennifer arrived at the location.

Jennifer stood across the street and recalled where her car had come from and where the car that had hit her had arrived. Then when the car stopped and when Alex got him out of the car. All of that happened right where she was standing right now.

Turns out there was a drain hole there. Jennifer took out her cell phone and checked the hole. She could see the key was there. The name engraving on the key stem is clearly visible. It was the name of a famous bank in the city.

Jennifer tried to retrieve the key, but the water inlet was very narrow. The finger can go in but the whole hand can't.

"This is harder than I thought," Jennifer said.

Jennifer had to open the metal frame to open the drain. But that is very difficult to do. Because, Jennifer had to bring a handyman tool to open it.

Jennifer stopped again and decided to head home. She arrived home when Alex called him on her cell phone.

"I have good news," said Alex.

Jennifer's heart skipped a beat. The image that the body was him returned to haunt her mind.

"Is that true!?!" Jennifer answered, praying silently that the corpse wasn't her.

"The police allowed us to work together on this novel. We'll be notified whenever there's any developments in the case. And meanwhile they're saying there's a ninety percent chance that the body is Jennifer. But I hope not. Because if Jennifer dies my novel will be finished too. ."

"What do you mean?" Jennifer asked.

"The main character of this story is Jennifer. If she dies, my novel will also end," said Alex in a sad voice.

"Not really. This story must continue no matter what happens. Even if Jennifer dies. The perpetrators of all these crimes must be revealed. You calm down first. We'll talk after you're here," Jennifer said trying to calm Alex.

"Okay. See you at home."

Phone connection is lost. Jennifer rubbed her face roughly. She felt her throat dry. Jennifer immediately went to the fridge and got a glass of water to drink.
