Jims didn't understand what Jennifer was thinking until the girl ran away. He was also worried that he had done something wrong so Jennifer decided to leave. Jims thought about all this over and over, but he couldn't find a suitable answer.
Thomas, who saw Jims contemplating contemplation, began to worry about his health. Jims condition could worsen at any time. He should rest a lot and always be in a calm state. But what happened made him even more worried.
"You should rest. Leave all Jennifer's problems to me," Thomas said.
Jim sighed. He looked at Thomas with an almost desperate look.
"How are you going to find her, Thomas. You don't know. Jennifer is the type of person who is like a tiger. She looks innocent and docile, but if she has the will she can destroy anything. Jennifer is actually smarter than us."
"I know. Let me handle it. I've asked Justin to accompany you here. I will leave and will not return until I bring Jennifer home. Therefore, you must be healthy until we return," said Thomas.
"Are you sure!?!" asked Jim. So far, Thomas has almost never acted directly on the field. He used his medical expertise more often than the others.
"Sure. I've wanted to do this for a long time. You don't have to worry. It's about time all my skills were put to use." Thomas tried to convince Jims with his strong determination.
"All right. This time I leave everything to you." Jims tapped Thomas on the shoulder. Then he walked away.
Thomas immediately visited the secret agent's headquarters. He received news that Jennifer's tracks had been found. They have kept evidence of all of Jennifer's whereabouts.
It had been a long time since Thomas had joined Jims on a visit to headquarters. It seemed that Thomas had almost forgotten the way to their base. Especially after arriving, there are many physical changes to the headquarters building. Now the base has a more sophisticated building, but looks redundant with very few members of the secret service.
"Long time no see. How are you?" Michael asked. The current head of the secret service.
"I'm fine," said Thomas.
The two of them walked into a room filled with high-tech sophisticated equipment. Several large and small screens are installed there.
"We found traces through CCTV cameras installed in several places. Look!" Michael shows some footage showing Jennifer running out of the store and getting into a taxi. Then the recording jumps to another recording with a different background. Now Jennifer is seen in the cemetery area, moved to a money machine, seen on a road to a restaurant. After that there were no more traces.
"She took a lot of money. I think Jennifer rented a room and bought some of her necessities. But from what I can see, I don't see why Jennifer seems so aimless." Thomas revealed what was on his mind. "But what you have to explain the most. Who is this Jennifer? Why are you holding a girl hostage. This is strange. Because during his time as a murder agent, Jims never tortured him. He would kill him straight away."
Thomas understood Michael's confusion. They don't know who Jennifer is yet. "That girl isn't a hostage. Jennifer is the potential agent Jims promised. Jennifer is Steven's daughter. All right, I'll be combing from where Jennifer disappeared without a trace." Thomas left immediately.
"Wait a minute! I'm still confused!" shouted Michael. But Thomas was already far away.
Thomas immediately went to the place where they lost track of Jennifer, namely at the diner. Jennifer had stopped there. But the trail disappeared after Jennifer got out of there. When you think about it, it's not far from Jennifer's house.
Thomas immediately combed the road until as he expected, he arrived at the housing. Many houses lined up and one of them was Jennifer's house which left the rubble of the fire. Thomas immediately got down and checked the surroundings. He realized that the place was not very safe. This is because there are no security cameras in the area. No wonder Jennifer disappeared there. Especially if Jenifer takes a taxi while still in the area. Of course Jennifer's trail would disappear.
Thomas immediately contacted Michael and asked for data on a taxi that happened to be there and not far from there. Then Thomas walked from Steven's house to the street. Thomas lost the clue. But from where he stood he saw several policemen busy at the T-junction.
"Sir, what happened there?" Thomas asked, pointing at several officers who were still busy working while managing the path of passing motorists.
"Accident."
Thomas was surprised. In his small heart he asked could Jennifer be a victim in the accident?
"Was one of the victims of the accident a young woman?" asked Thomas to confirm.
"Exist."
Thomas was surprised. He hoped it wasn't Jennifer. But his heart was restless. What if it was Jennifer.
"But strangely, the girl boy refused to take the girl he loves to the hospital. It happened so fast. Everyone is still confused, because the car that hit didn't have a driver."
"It's very tragic. Thank you for the information," said Thomas. He was relieved that the girl was definitely not Jennifer. Because Jennifer is alone.
Thomas immediately got into the car. He had received a message from Michael. It was only Michael's anger saying that he was not a taxi company officer who had to check every taxi that entered the housing estate.
Thomas just sighed in exasperation. He didn't get a clue. Finally Thomas decided to leave the area and move closer to where the accident occurred. Thomas pulled the car over and checked the surroundings. He saw that there were several hidden cameras installed near the traffic light. It should have been if Jennifer had been to that place. The camera could find traces. But the trail would disappear if Jennifer got into the cab from out of sight of the camera.
"Where did you go Jennie? And why?" Thomas spoke to himself. Because nervous. He took out a cigarette and lit it. Thomas hadn't smoked in a long time. So that the first puff managed to make Thomas cough.
"Are you okay?" reprimand a policeman.
Thomas nodded. He threw the cigarette onto the paved road and stepped on it. It seemed that Thomas had to forget the habit. Smoking is no longer a habit.
"Were there any casualties?" Thomas asked the reprimanded policeman.
"Nothing. All safe."
Thomas nodded. But accidentally he saw something shining. When it comes to the object. It turned out to be a ring. Probably belonged to the accident victim. Looks like Thomas will have to start the investigation from where Jennifer disappeared from. Or he just needs to put up a missing person report. But then Thomas realized that it was impossible to do. Very risky.
"Where are you Jenny," said Thomas.
