Author’s POV
Damien was walking mindlessly in the training filed with a hard face and blank cold eyes. Any one who would look at him will think that he is observing the training but no he is not.
His mind is somewhere else.
The talk he had with Elaine yesterday evening and the conversation he had with Sage in the yesterday morning is repeating in his head again and again.
He is happy knowing that Elaine also doesn’t want to marry him. Now he can claim Sage without any problem, not that he couldn’t claim her before. It just that now he doesn’t have to feel bad about hurting Elaine and Alpha King.
But the memory of Sage pushing him away and running out of the room when he was about to mark her is messing with his mind a lot.
Various worst scenarios are running in his mind.
