Author’s POV
Sage’s heart thumped loudly in her chest at the thought of him dying.
'if he didn’t kill her she would have killed him' does that mean his mate betrayed him. Was she really going to kill him?
Many questions were swirling in her head. Her chain of thought was broken by Damien’s deep voice, “Sage go back to my room” he commended walking towards her.
She wanted to ask him many question but refrained herself when Damien glared at her, daring her to disobey. So she quickly scurried away from there.
Damien’s eyes landed on Mason who was looking at him calmly.
“Follow me” Damien said and entered in a nearby empty room. He locked the door when both of them were inside and fixed his burning gaze on Mason.
