She was confident that he will say no and throw her out of his life completely. He might even reject her because of her absurd demand.
And these thoughts were making her happy. She did her best to hide her happiness and kept a straight face. But despite doing her best, she couldn’t hide the glint of hope shining in her blue orbs which didn’t go unnoticed by Damien.
