Alissa's POV Yesterday Alison and I finally worked things out between us, and it made me happier than I thought it would. It even made me less anxious about what was to come. Lord Alvern had sent a letter to us a letter telling us to start getting ready for the coronation. The letter said he would be home the day before the ball, which was tomorrow. The letter also informed us that our clothes for the ball would arrive for fitting today. "Are you ready Cinderella?" Alison asks with a grin, "I bet they'll send a blue dress, it do cliche." She says cracking up. "Shut up," I say rolling my eye while thinking about a comeback. "Mulan" I say with a smirk and we both burst out laughing. Zian and Zane looks at us confused. "Who's Cinderella and mulan?" Zian asks. "Keep up Zian, Alissa's Cinderella and Alison's Mulan." Zane scolds his older brother. We laugh at them for not knowing who we were really talking about. But who could blame them, they are from a different dimension after all. Thinking about it, made my mind wonder about Julia. I know lord Alvern said he sent each of them on special missions but I couldn't help but worry about her. I've never gone so many days without seeing her before. To think about it, I've never gone a day without seeing her since the first time we met. She really was just protecting me all these year. "Hey, you okay?" Alison ask pulling me out of my thoughts. "Yeah." I say giving her a smile. Becky walks in and greets us with a bow before she spoke. "Your dresses for tomorrow has arrived." Alison and I share a knowing looking but before getting up. "Please lead the way." Alison tells her. She leads us to a room we've never been to before, when we entered we saw a familiar girl waiting with two rack with multiple dresses. "Pleasure to make your acquaintances." Athena says bowing to us. "It's a pleasure to see you again." I say and Alison and her curtsey. "Sorry to rush you but I have two more houses to deliver to today. I hope you can forgive me." Athena says apologetically. "Its fine, I'm sure Becky can give you a hand in getting us fitted." Alison offers. "I would greatly appreciate it." She says bowing again. I look at Becky for her approval and he nodded a yes. "Great so let's get started, I selected the dresses on this rack for you" she gestures to rack on her right as she spoke to me." And for you I selected these but I suggest the red one." She ushers Alison over to rack to take a closer look at the red dress. "You should definitely wear that." I tell her. "No way! I'd stand out too much." She protests. "The more you stand put the less attention I'll get." I argue and she grunts. "Fine." "Let's get it fitted right away then." Athena says, she and Becky waste no time in undressing Alison and getting her into the dress. While they got her ready I busy myself, with the task of finding a dress that was extravagant enough for the coronation but wouldn't attract too much attention. I was about to give up and grab the ugliest dress when a forest green dress on Alison's rack caught my eye. It was simple, yet elegant and extravagant. It was a forest green satin off the shoulder ballgown. I pulled it off the hanger held it up, it didn't have any sort of train and I was glad for that, since we didn't practice dancing in these types of dresses. "Are you sure you want that one?" Athena asks coming to my side. "Yes." I say turning around. "OH MY GOD! Alison you look like a goddess!" I gush over her dress. The red off the shoulder dress had gold embroidery patterns coming up from the hem, with what look like diamonds in the center of each patter, it also two frills going down, one on the left and one on the right. The train of the dress wasn't too long and it also had gold embroidery on it. And it looked absolutely stunning on her. Her thick back hair was comed back and it was the prefext contrast to the red dress which made her icy blue eyes stand out, she looked like a real princess. "Are you sure you want to ear that dress?" "Yes I'm a hundred percent sure." I tell her truthfully. The whole true is that I don't want anyone the notice me since I look exactly like our mother. I'm afraid of being noticed and attacked. They quickly got me into the dress and it was a prefect fit and it didn't needed to be altered in anyways whatever. "You look great." Alison compliments me. "Thank you." I say twirling for her to see me. "I'm sorry you can't wear a better dress." She apologizes. "Its fine, I promise it doesn't bother me." I reach out to hug her so she knows I'm I'm telling the truth. "Okay." She says and she give me a tight squeeze. "Could you go and get the boys for me? It's time for their fitting." Athena asks Becky. "Yes, right away." Becky bows before leaving. Athena quickly undresses and redressed us in record time. Then sent is on our way. "Thank you again" "For everything." Alison and I thank her once more before we left. ************** Alison and I along with Zian and Zane spent the rest of the day preparing for tomorrow. Their father sent us a detailed letter via a messenger bird telling us the plan for tomorrow. It turns out the king had a spy working in his house all along and was watching his every move. When we showed up the spy got suspicious and reported it to the king. He lied and said we were prospective brieds for his songs, so the king asked to meet us. Working alongside Zian and Zane. We studied the few maps of the castle they had, as we mapped out escape routes incase we got in trouble and they tried to kill us. The letter also gave us permission to tell the boys the truth about us and where we came from. Since the king ordered him to stay at the castle. "What? No way this is true." Zian scoffs at us in disbelief. "I can't believe this, but it makes sense." Zane says in realization. "Not only do you speak different but you also acted differently when you arrived." "I had no idea you two had been through so much." Zian adds coming to terms with what we told him. "Shh." Zane says out of no where. "What's- I'm cut off by Zian's hand covering my mouth as I tried to speak. Zane quickly closed all the maps and hid them under the table while Zian got up opened a book and pretended to be reading it. "So what's it like like growing up as twins?" Zane asks us casually. "Bother it's no different from how we grew up, your only a year younger than me." Zian explains in a duh tone. While Alison and I glance at each other awkwardly. I was about to ask what's going on when a maid popped up out of nowhere. "Forgive my intrusion, Becky sent me with snacks." She says bowing and for some reason i recognize her. "Aren't you the made who started taking care of me when I first got here?" I ask her. "Yes mama." She replies with a smile "What happened? you disappeared for a few says." I grill her, something tells me she's the spy. "I'm sorry my lady but I was I'll, so I was given a few days off to get better. I didn't want to get anyone else I'll." "Oh my, I'm sorry you were I'll. I'm glad to know your doing better now." I give her a warm smile. "Thank you very much." She bows before she starts leaving. "Why don't stay until we're finished?" Zian offers. "It is not my place to- "I didn't mean it like that." He stops her, " I meant you should stay until we were finished with the snacks, instead of going back and forth. And I'm sure the ladies wouldn't mind." He says in a monotone. "Ofcourse sir." She says and a blush creeps up her neck. Was she embarrassed. "As I was saying, Alissa and I weren't very close growing up. We always fought over the most trivial things." Alison begins to lie. Oh, I get it now. "Remember that time we got teased for having different hair colors and we started arguing about it?" I follow her lead. "Yes ofcourse, we started telling each other that something was wrong with the other." She continues my lie. And the Zane starts laughing and we join in. We quickly finished the snack and she cleaned the table and left. We started talking about books and stories just to make sure we there her off. "Would you like me to come back and be your hand maid?" She asks politely. "As long as Becky doesn't mind." I tell her with a smile. She nodded, bowed then left. We didn't start talking until we were sure she was gone. "What was that about?" Alison was the first to speak. "They aren't sure who the spy is, so we can't trust anyone." I explain. "And guys, don't think theres only one spy." "What?" They all ask surprised. "Why is that?" Zian asks cooly. "I asked Becky where that made was and she told me she had some things that needed to be delt with. She never said she was sick." "That's is suspicious." Zane says. "I agree." Zian adds. "And I think she's keeping a close eye on you." He says looking at me. "Who Becky?" I ask for confirmation. "Yes. You and her aren't close but she's always hanging around you, unlike Mia who keeps her distance from Alison." He explains. "I don't think we should talk about this anymore." Zane stops us. "He's right." Alison agrees. "Let's meet in my room at midnight. Zane bring the maps." Zian instructs us then left. "Do we know where is room is?" Alison asks. "I have no idea." "Don't worry I'll come get you." Zane tells us with a reassuring smile. "Thanks." I tell him then we went out separate ways until dinner time.
