Brianna’s POV The next three days dissolve into something I can only call borrowed time, time stolen from the world, stolen from the lives we are meant to perform in Rome, stolen even from myself. It feels like stepping into a parallel universe where nothing exists but him and me, where the world’s noise has been silenced, and the only truth is the pull between our bodies and the rhythm of our breaths. The first morning, sunlight streams through the shutters, soft and golden, the sea a distant roar beyond the cliffs. Enzo doesn’t let me rise from the bed. His hands find me before my thoughts even form, his weight pressing me into the sheets, his mouth claiming mine with slow insistence.
