Mia's Pov
Mia opened her eyes slowly as sunlight shines through the silken curtains causing her to wake up. Rolling over in the bed she looked around and noticed that Leonardo was nowhere to be found.
He must have been out on mafia business she thought to herself. She got up out of the bed and stretched her body before she walked towards the curtains and pulled them aside. After opening the door she walked out unto the polished wooden balcony.
The Island was tropical and beautiful. She closed her eyes and inhaled allowing the refreshing sea breeze to toss her hair as she gazed outside at the groundskeepers tending to the gardens, while armed men moved around patrolling the grounds of the villa.
