Kinza strode into the auditorium, and the frenzied conversation died down to a whisper. She wasn’t timid or uncertain as she went to the front of the room and turned to face the people. Her people. She felt like she was dreaming, like she had so many times during her first few days in Rhapta. None of it felt real, but it did feel right. Eta’s revelation, despite how shocking it was, gave her hope. If there was a chance they could make it out of this safely, then Kinza would find it.
