Dreaded Moment

The Dreaded moment hath come. And I could all but do nothing about it. All of my ways had been blocked by my fate. I could feel him staring at me like a tiger stares at his prey, and I was definitely caught up in his paws now.

I sighed. Of course, this was happening.

I turned to Noah.

He smirked.

Oh! He was enjoying this all right!

There was only one person left that i could partner up with.

Him.

And he knew that. I let him bask in the glory of this moment for a minute.

"Don't smile."

"Why?It brings joy to the heart."

I sighed.

"Look."

"I've always been looking .Didn't you notice." He leaned closer.

My stomach did a back flip.

Seriously, how could he have such beautiful eyes. This was not fair.

"If we are going to do this." I pointed between us."You're gonna have to be serious about this."

"Okay?" I said.

"Okay."He sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Okay!Thats good. We can work with okay." I said excitedly cause he was listening to me. Finally!

"Okay." he smiled.

I stilled. Wait, what was happening. Then it suddenly dawned on me.

He was not listening to me, nor was he serious.

WAS he seriously trying to annoy me by repeating that word.

If he was, it was definitely working.

I controlled myself and divided the project between us

"Let's work on our parts first, then we'll meet up and work on the final draft together.

"Okay." HE AGAIN SMILED.

Okay! This is seriously getting annoying.

"I'll go write down our names." I stood up. Finding an excuse and trying to get away from him.

"Okay." HE smiled again. He knew he was getting to me.

"Stop saying that. I hate when people do that." Of course, he knew that why else would he be doing it.

"Okay." He singsonged.

"Stop it!" I said and turned around.

But not before i heard him say.

"Okay."

OH MY GOD! He was so childish.

Ugh! I couldn't believe i was going to work on my assignment with him.

"Let's be rational. I have endured him all these years. I can do it for a few more days.It can't get any worse than this."

I took a deep, calming breath.

I went to Miss smith and wrote down our names.

Little did I know it could get worse than this.
