Diana's POV “Are you two dating?” one of the reporters asked. “Yes,” Mr. Carter's response was direct and instant. He grinned at the reporters before his gaze fell on me. “Huh?” I gawked at him as he lied smoothly. “Isn't that right, my darling?” He asked, turning to me and I was too dumbfounded to respond. The reporters' flashy cameras snapped me out of my thoughts. ‘What just happened?’ I thought, trying to get his hands off my shoulders but he held me firmly. “Is this true, Miss Harrison?” I was startled when I heard my name. I turned to the reporter and he asked me another question. “How do you plan to deal with the fallout..” the reporter was interrupted by Mr. Lee. “Every question will be answered but not now, my girlfriend is a bit uncomfortable by all this. Kindly leave the room, please,” Mr. Lee left my side and went to force them out of the door. They kept throwing different questions at us and I was left stupefied as I watched them leaving the room. Tears welled in my eyes as the noise went down immediately Mr. Lee closed the door. First was my virginity, and now, bringing a stain to my family's name. How would they react? I didn't know I was going down as my brain kept replaying what just happened. My bum touched the bed and I gasped as a lone tear fell on my cheeks. “Are you okay?” My blurred vision swept to the man in front of me. He has the effrontery to ask me if I was okay. He wanted to touch me when I slapped his hands away. “Don't you dare touch me, r****t!” I snapped at him with my red eyes. “Excuse me?” “Why did you have to leave the door open? You planned all these. I-It a-all makes sense now. Why were you in this room?! Do you realize what this would cause to our families?! M-My p-parents, they will be so disappointed,” I cried out and slumped to the floor. My heart clenched in my chest. “Do you realize I am also a victim of this?” I heard him say, making me dart my head to his direction. He sighed, “Listen here. Whatever happened, it's not my fault, I was only…” I interrupted him. “I don't wanna hear it. Why were you in this room? T-That emotions I have never felt them before. I met you in the room, why were you here?” I repeated accusingly. “We were both victims of an aphrodisiac!” He yelled and I blinked my eyelashes at him. “What's that?” I asked, I have never heard of that before. “Aphrodisiac?” I nodded at him, “It intensifies s****l desire,” he explained. “How do you know the name and meaning? That means you must know about how to use….” He interrupted him. “I am a Doctor. I don't think any drugs would be new to me,” he explained and my eyes shone in surprise. I finally recognized him. He was the guy I met outside the pharmacy. He looked to be a good man then compared to now, I pointed my index finger at him accusingly. “It's you. At the pharmacy,” he nodded at me and I gasped. This was a setup. I was about to yell at him when he cut me off. “Don't think this was a setup, okay? Or I deliberately bumped into you, it was all a coincidence. I recognized you last night but I had never thought this was gonna happen, “ he explained and I sat back on the bed. “I was with my dad and brothers, we were all drinking together without anything happening. After the banter with your father, I went back to our table a little bit pissed. I chugged down three cups of whiskey consecutively. Then, I slowed down the pace. My father was about to discuss some things with us when I stood up to use the restroom…” I was looking at him expectantly as he continued. “I was suddenly pressed and wanted to ease myself, so that brought me to this room…” I interrupted him. “Why didn't you use the first floor?” I crossed my arms under my chest. “I planned on spending the night here without any disturbance,” he responded. “Is that your reason for coming to the last floor?” I demanded. “You might not believe me but that's the reason behind it. I didn't want my brothers to find me,” he responded before continuing. “On getting to this room, after I was done with my business. I suddenly felt heated… I mean, it was so great. A few minutes after I was still battling with my emotions, then you badged in and started to undress….” I turned away from him and he stopped talking. He doesn't need to go into details and tell me about it. My tears had dried up but my fear was still making my heart beat erratically. I sat on the bed and dropped my face on my palms. All my life, I have never done anything to make my parents proud of me. Right from my 1st grade, I wasn't sound academically. The embarrassment made my parents made me dropped out of school to attend online schools. It has been hard to do but I had made it possible. Studying business management isn't my choice, I only wanted to help my father in his company since my sister was a model. “I’m sorry this has to happen,” he apologized, patting my shoulder but I yanked his hands off me. I briskly picked up my heels, putting it on and carried my bag. I arranged my hair and wiped my tears. The more I stay here, the more my parents might actually believed I was really seeing him. “Are you leaving?” He asked but I didn't respond. I walked to the door but he suddenly gripped my hands. “The reporters are still around,” he clenched his words, looking at me as if I was doing a stupid thing.
