“It is all set now dear, we have to go to the US for your operation. We cannot waste our time.” her mom announces the next day while they are having breakfast. Vanessa Feralco cannot let her only daughter keep on chasing that young Vox while she has a very important thing to do for her health.
“Can’t we do it here, Ma? I don’t want to go. How about my studies here? My friends?’
“Don’t give me that lame excuse again Samantha. I know why you can’t leave. For God’s sake, if you don’t want to do that for yourself then can you please do it for me? Vanessa is firm with her decision. “After your birthday we are going”.
Samantha decides not to contradict her mother. She is right anyway. Even his younger brother Zayne did not join their conversation and silently ate with them.
She is feeling down when she arrives at school after their driver Oscar drops her off. Since, she is in deep thought she did not notice Sebastian with his group of friends. The group of boys becomes quiet as Sam passes by.
“I will bet my new Iphone, Sam will come to Seb”, Ares said to Harvey and Max.
They can’t believe that Sam just walked through them and did not even look at Seb.
“Wow! That was new”, Max said. “Tsk” Seb only answers to them. He gets curious as well about her behavior and frowns when he sees the transferee walks to Sam and talks to her. She did not notice him easily until she bumped into him.
“Something is wrong with her!”

“Aww! Sam pouts as she bumps to someone.
“What's the matter girl? Dustin inquires about his new friend.
“Nothing!” she said. She looks the other way, struggling to avoid crying in front of someone.
She only has more or less two weeks before her birthday. She will turn 19 by then. Before, she was always excited when her birth date was coming. She always celebrates it extravagantly with her family and friends. Now, because of the conversation she had with her mother, she wants the time to stop for a while.
She is not yet successful in making Sebastian fall in love with her! What if he falls in love with someone when she is not around? She cannot take that!
“Gosh! What is on your left ear? Dustin suddenly asked.
“What?”
“Don’t move!’ He moves closer to her and gets something in her ear. Her amazement when she sees a red rose in his hand. “How did you do that?”
“Now you are smiling, you are prettier when you smile.” Dustin leads them to her classroom. He even holds her bag and books.
“Thanks babe!” she jokingly said to him to remind him about the wrong messages he sent last night.
“Oh shut up!” he exclaims.
“Who did you meet last night, hmm? You are such a slutty gay!” she playfully smacks his arm as they walk to the corridors. She makes sure that her voice is low so no one can hear what she says. Dustin’s gay issue is a top secret.
“Stop now or I will smack this bag to your face!” Sam just laughs at her friend’s threat.
“If I know you just hold that for your experience. You like my bag dude?” Dustin’s face reddens as she continues teasing him. He did not answer her and stopped their banter as they arrived in front of her classroom.
“I will fetch you later, okay?” He gives back her bag and books. “Why?” Dustin leans onto her and whispers, “We’ll go boy hunting later at the mall!”
Samantha laughs aloud that caught the attention of her classmates inside the classroom.
“Okay! See you later babe!” she can’t stop teasing him.
“Sam, we saw that! What is that all about? I thought you liked Sebastian?” Monique did not stop her curiosity.
“Right! Who is that guy?” Gwen asks too.
“Oh that’s Dustin, a new friend of mine. I am just teasing him. You know I only like Seb.”
“Why not? He is handsome too. You look good together’, Angelie jokes to her.
“Excuse me? The only man for me is Primo Sebastian! No one else! Hmp!” She did not like what she had heard from her friend’s mouth.
The three girls keep their mouths shut after Samantha rants. They all went back to their chairs when the teacher arrived.

“Come here babe!” Ares calls to Monique. She is with Angelie and Gwen.
They walk to them while holding their tray of food. Monique sits beside Ares, who has been courting her for a few weeks now. Gwen sits beside Monique and Angelie shyly sits beside Sebastian.
“You are not complete, where is Sam?” Max asks the girls.
“Sam went out with her new friend, the transferee guy.” Monique explains.
“Just great! Seb commented then looked at Angelie who was blushing at the moment. She has had a crush on Sebastian since the first day she saw him in the university.
“You both look good sitting together!” Gwen commented. “But you are Sam’s already!
“Samantha is not my girlfriend!” Seb spats each word. “I don’t see anything wrong if I like someone else’. He looks at Angelie’s direction while saying that.
“We will not let you break our friendship just because you may like Angelie and not Sammy! We are not fools! We know! So back off!” Monique can’t stop barking those words at Sebastian’s face. The nerve of this guy!
“You don’t have any right to talk to me like that”, Seb grim looks bothers the boys.
“Babe, stop it!” Ares holds Monique to calm her down.
“You know what? You are so mean! I hope Samantha will wake up one day regretting her wanted time with you. You don’t deserve my friend!” she angrily said then walked out.
“Bro..sorry” Ares apologetically said to Sebastian before leaving to look after Monique.
Sebastian is so mad! He closes his fist tightly to stop himself from doing anything harsh.
