I pushed myself out of the crowd and took a long deep breath of the clean, rain socked air once I stepped outside the club. Apparently, it had been raining the entire time we'd been cooked up inside that suffocatingly smoke induced place and as the drops of it softly fell across my skin, I felt myself relax from the cool sensation the droplets had on me.
I got myself out of the rain though before I could get soaked and quickly trotted my way to the back of the club where we'd parked the car earlier. It was fairly dark and deserted in the parking lot by the time I got there and even though I knew well enough that roaming around outside by myself was a terrible idea, I still took my chances and prayed that I could reach the safety of the car in time before some drunk loser could see me and
