My new bodyguard

At school, Ryan walked through the entrance like always — with heads turning and whispers following him. Every girl looked at him with admiration. Mila rushed over and kissed him, making sure the other girls were watching. It gave her the feeling that she’d just won a competition.Even though, deep down, she knew their relationship wouldn’t last more than a few months. They entered the classroom together. Moments later, the teacher walked in, followed by a new student. “This is your new classmate,” she said. “Would you like to introduce yourself?” The girl stepped forward. “I’m Daisy,” she said nervously. The whole class burst into laughter, as if she’d told a joke. “Quiet, please,” the teacher scolded. “Daisy, you may take your seat.” Ryan couldn’t take his eyes off her. Something about her — maybe her long blonde hair or her beautiful eyes — had caught his attention. Elsewhere in London, Emily rushed out of a meeting and hurried home. Meanwhile, Nate and Nina had already arrived. Nina stood still, eyes wide in awe at the size of their luxurious villa. “Do all of you live here?” she asked. Nate smiled. “Emily and I, yes. My family lives just across the road, in the villa next door. You’ll meet them soon, I’m sure.” “Even Alina?” Nina asked excitedly. “I’ve seen some of her roles. I can’t wait to meet her!” Nate couldn’t help but be amused at how even the smallest details in the house fascinated Nina. The way she admired everything so openly felt… refreshing. Just then, Emily arrived. “Nina! Welcome,” she said, slightly out of breath. “I’m sorry I couldn’t come pick you up.” “It’s fine,” Nina replied. “Nate was very polite and kind. I’ve missed you so much, Emily.” She hugged her tightly. Emily stepped back, amazed. “You’ve grown so much… you’re a beautiful young woman now.” “Thank you! I never miss a news edition where you’re on-screen,” Nina said. “You’re such an inspiration to me.” Nate looked at his watch. “I have to head to work. See you both later.” “If you’re busy too, Emily, don’t worry. I can entertain myself,” Nina offered. Emily shook her head. “No way. I only have the evening news edition today, so the rest of the day is ours” And we’re starting it with a proper breakfast. You must be starving, right?” Nina nodded quickly. “So hungry!” They both laughed, walking toward the kitchen together. Alina rushed out of the university, hoping no one would notice her leave. “Thank God I’m graduating this year. I can’t take it anymore,” she muttered to herself. Emma waved from a distance. Alina smiled back and quickly entered her car. From inside the car, she texted Nate: “When are you bringing me the new bodyguard? I hate driving myself—you know that.” Nate replied: “Be patient, princess. He’s arriving today. You’re lucky I found someone in a day.” Meanwhile, Emily and Nina were out shopping. “Everything here is so beautiful… but also so expensive,” Nina said, overwhelmed by the luxury. Emily smiled. “Pick whatever you like. They’re gifts from your cousin.” “Tomorrow, the first thing you’ll do is register at the university. You can stay with us for as long as you need, until we find a proper apartment for you.” Nina’s eyes lit up. “Really? There’s no one like you, Emily.” Emily held up a pink dress. “This one suits you so well.” That same day, Alina stepped out of the house—and froze. She couldn’t believe her eyes. Standing outside as her new bodyguard… was Tom. “You’re the new bodyguard?” she asked, surprised. Tom nodded. “Yes. I’ll do everything I can to make sure you feel safe… and satisfied with my service.” Alina smirked. “You won’t have it that easy with me, believe me.” They both got into the car. “Where to?” Tom asked. “To my manager’s office,” Alina answered. Later, Nate sat down for dinner. The maid brought his plate. A delicious aroma filled the room. “Where’s that smell coming from?” Nate asked. The maid replied: “Mr. Nate, it’s Miss Emily’s cousin. She’s in the kitchen cooking. I didn’t say anything—I figured since she’s family, it was alright.” Nina entered with a plate of soup in her hands. “I made my favorite soup. Everyone’s always loved it. It’s light—trust me.” Nate said: “I’m on a strict diet, but… I’ll try a little. For you.” He took a spoonful and paused in surprise. “It’s delicious. I haven’t had soup like this in ages.” Nina smiled. “I’m glad you like it.” Nate looked at her thoughtfully. “Seems like you really enjoy cooking.” Nina nodded, a little shy. “A lot. It’s my passion.” Nate smiled and said: “I’d like to try more of your cooking sometime.” Nina replied warmly: “With pleasure.” While they were in the living room, Nate turned on the TV. “It’s time for the news.” On screen appeared Emily, presenting the evening report. Nina looked at her and said: “I’m so proud of Emily… the way she made it this far.” Meanwhile, the Winchester family was having dinner. George asked: “So, how’s the new bodyguard, sweetheart?” Alina replied: “He’s fine, Dad.” Catherine looked at her carefully. “You don’t seem like yourself. What’s wrong?” Ryan added: “Yeah, you’re not usually this quiet.” Alina tried to smile. “It’s nothing… I accepted the film offer. Filming starts soon.” Everyone congratulated her. “Good luck,” they said. Alina quietly got up. “I’m full.” She walked outside. Tom noticed her and asked: “Are you going somewhere?” Alina said: “No… I just need some fresh air. Could you maybe take me for a short drive?” Tom said: “Of course.” As they drove, Alina let her hair flow freely from the open window. The wind played with it gently. No matter how much she loved acting, tonight she wished — just for a moment — that no one knew her. That she could talk to someone, peacefully, without masks or pressure. “Tom… stop the car, please.” Tom pulled over to a quiet corner. “Are you okay?” he asked. Alina looked down. “That night… I found out my boyfriend cheated on me. The worst part is, I can’t tell anyone. That’s why I accepted the movie with him. It might sound selfish, but… I didn’t want the world to know I was betrayed.I wanted them to think I left him. But now… I can’t even say that, because everyone’s waiting for our film. What have I done to myself?” Tom looked at her calmly. “Think about it differently. You accepted the role because you’re a professional. You know how to separate your personal life from your work.Don’t let people make choices for your life — even if you’re a public figure. This is still your life, your decisions.” Alina sighed with relief. “I needed to talk to someone… without being judged. I didn’t expect you to be that person.” Tom asked: “Why not? What do I seem like to you?” Alina said honestly: “Serious. Cold. Like all bodyguards.” Tom smiled softly. “Everyone seems different from the outside.” “Do you want to go back home?” he added. Alina nodded. “Yes.” That night, something shifted inside Alina. A quiet interest was born — a curiosity to know Tom better. But of course… she knew she couldn’t cross the lines of work.
