The timeout I take in the garden seems to have helped me clear my head because, by the time I return to the house, I feel much more refreshed.
At least enough to think without feeling like my thoughts are all fighting for space in my head.
The first thing I do is take a shower.
I clean myself up, get dressed, and send Sarah off for the night after making sure she has everything she needs, she gives me one last concerned look before leaving, but I reassure her that I am fine.
