Breaking into a smile , Maria waved a hand at Parth . “I was pulling your leg . Was that too harsh ?”
Letting his shoulders fall with a loud exhale , he replied , “I
almost called my mom to cry about this .”
A warm buzz filled her chest to see him smile and then laugh
because of her . It was a rare feeling for her , it brought a sort of comfort ,
joy and pride . She wanted to capture that moment with as much detail as
possible , so that she could live it again , later .
It was like finding a treasure after being stranded in the sea . Each moment shared with him was a precious treasure she wanted to hide in the deepest folds of her memory , safe , that only belonged to her and no one else .
