The uniform had silver hemming that brought out its navy blue colour and the cap was similar to an officers’ cap.
You were given a four-door Alfa Romeo with a shining grey frame and a convertible top. They gave it to you brand new, “at the zero”, as they said in drivers’ jargon. Mario remained with you the entire time, helping you to complete all the necessary procedures, and spending hours teaching you how to drive that particular car.
