Her jaw dropped to the floor while her eyes turned the size of a melon.

He is kidding right?

"Ashley was still reeling from what the mysterious man had said. Was it really possible that he had been the one to save her mother all those years ago? And if it was true, why hadn't he ever said anything before? Ashley had so many questions, but the man was silent, watching her with a knowing look in his eyes. She was about to ask him another question when a sudden noise made her jump. It sounded like something was crashing through the trees in the distance."

She gulped down focusing her gaze on the tree wondering what could be there.

A bunny jumped out with a carrot in it mouth and she sighed in relief facing Damon again.

“You..you are kidding right?“ She asked and he just grinned.

“You wanted to escape right?, you badly want to leave after pledging your royalty to me, even when you made a promise to me, you really wanna break it cause you really want to go out there to search for your family..human will always be human..” Damon said as he turn around backing her.

Ashley couldn't even close her mouth.

She just watch his back in shock.

So he really know everything she was thinking and planning.

What the f**k was she even thinking?, he is a vampire and she is just a mere human being.

She is so stupîd to think he can't read her thoughts.

"Ashley stood there, not knowing what to say. The words Damon had said were ringing in her ears, but she wasn't sure if she could believe him. He had shown himself to be someone who only cared about his own needs, someone who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. Could she really trust that him that he won't end up hurting her?, that he was telling the truth? 'I know you're probably wondering what I want from you,' Damon said, reading her thoughts again.

“You should be grateful to me for saving you and am asking for your blood in return nothing else, you should be grateful I spared you, I should have kîlled you or suvk you dry like you always thought but I didn't” he said and she moved back in fright.

She is really scared of him right now, maybe agreeing to come out with him was a very bad idea.

She need to mute her mind right now or if she keep thinking, she might get her self into deeper trouble.

“I am sorry master, this won't repeat its a of again, I promise” she cried gowinh on her knees immediately.

Damon watch her with a cold face, hmm

..she's really cunning but of course he is the master of many games.

“For others, they give second and third chances but too bad I don't, I spared you the first time but I am not gonna spare you now” he said nonchalantly.

“Please you can give me another punishment, not the cobras coven, please have mercy on me” she cried clasping her hand together.

Damon just watch her beg like a baby in need of snacks while he pondered on what next to do.

“I won't take you to the cobras coven anymore but to the school of the supernatural for just a week or two, where they are going to bully you.” he grinned and her jaw dropped.

“Sc..school?.. Su..supernatural?“ She stuttered as she look up at him but he wasn't staring at her as he focused his gaze on a particular place in the beautiful woods.

“Yes?, have any complaint about that too?“ He asked and she nod negatively immediately.

“Good..now get up and let go get some red berries before going back to the castle” he said walking ahead of her.

Their woods are kind of beautiful and amazing, unlike theirs which is scary and dark”.

“Don't be taken away by the beautiful things you see here, they are also dangerous thing you can't see here, the mean vampires do come here in the night to wait for a prey” he said answering her thought and she gulp down nothing.

Her eyes landed on a blue rose and she smiled, she stare at Damon who keep walking ahead of her without turning to spare her a glance, she quickly tiptoed to it, to have a look and also take one with her.

Its really cute.

She stretch her hand to cut the rose when its opening suddenly went wide and swallow her hand,her eyes widened.

Is this a nightmare or what?.

“Aarh” she screamed when she felt stings on her hand.

She didn't even know when Damon appeared behind her.

He cast a spell on the flower and it freed her immediately.

Her breath seized when he did that.

Wait, isn't it the witches who cast spell?.

What did he just do?, she has never read that vampire cast spell, they can only hypnotize someone that all.

Or is he a vampire/witch?.

“You should be grateful I saved you, stop thinking nonsenses.

He grab the hand the flower had sting her and place his lips on it, his fangs go into there causing her another pain and she just groaned.

He drained the blood in that area and spit it out.

“You think you are stubborn?, don't worry kid, you won't be soon, after you get to the school of supernatural” he said and walk past her again.

She stare at her blood he spit out earlier and her jaw dropper when she saw its blue.

No one need to tell her it the poison from the blue rose sting that did that.

So it would have turned all her blood to blue?.

“Jeez that would have been cool” she thought walking behind him slowly.

“Then give it your hand again, its won't take three minutes for you to meet your ancestors” he said coldly not sparing her a glance as they finally get to the red berries.

She bit her lips in embarrassment.

She have to be mute and stop thinking a lot when she is closer to him.

“Get the berries” he said and fold his broad hand.

“Master.. I..“ She stuttered and gulp down.

“I didn't send you to give your hand to the poisonous blue rose, did I?“ He scoffed.

Ashley gulp down nothing as her eyes brimmed with tears immediately.

“Hey, its not gonna sting, so you should get to work” he said and she hesitated before starting to pluck the berries.

“Every plants here has life in them and can harm people when they are not familiar with the people, only the red berries is free and its just a berry, nothing more” he said while Ashley listening attentively.

Zendaya stand in the other part of the woods.

She close her eyes, trying to listen to nature, she could hear the air moving around with sweet music of the birds.

She heard a sound behind her and she turn around immediately to see a white cat staring at her helplessly with it cute eyes.

“Hey honey?“ Are you lost?“ She asked walking to it.

The cat wanted to run away but she stopped walking.

“Common cutie, don't run away, am not gonna hurt you I promise” she said and as if the cat heard what she said, he stopped and she walk to it and pick it up in her arms.

“You are so charming” she said patting it's fur and he close it eyes immediately.

“Good, what name am I gonna give you now?“ She asked walking back home with it.

“Lou”

hmm.

“Lou will be okay since you are a male cat” she smiled.

“Now I have a new buddy” said smiling cheerfully.

Just when she is about to get to the castle gate, she saw Damon with a girl.

Her brows creased when she saw its a human girl.

“Damon walking with a human girl?“

“That's odd” she said and shrugged her shoulder.

Ashley was holding a full basket of berries as she walk tiredly.

Damon didn't spare her a glance or tries to help her.

“Hi Prince Damon,” she smiled waving him with one hand while the other hand hold the cat to her self.

“Hey Zendaya” he waved back not smiling.

“You got yourself a pet?“ He asked and she nod.

Damon eyed met with the cat eyes and it remain there for like a minutes.

He just look away and walk out.

“Lou, how dare you stare at the prince of vampire like that, do you know rumors had it, he might emerge the king of all supernatural since he can posses many powers?“ She whispered to the cat like its a human she is talking to.

“Meow” the cat meowed and she sighed.

“Stay away from him or you won't last long here” she whispered to it before proceeding into the castle.

“Who is the girl with Damon?“ Viola asked as she watch from her room's window.

“We don't know ma'am Viola” her maids replied.

Viola look closely and she frowned.

“She is even a human, Damon with a human girl?, he should have end her than to bring her to the castle” she scoffed.

“She even dare walk close to him, who knows weather he has touch that fragile body of hers?,” she thought as she stare down at Ashley with despise.

“Hmm, if she die soon, it won't affect him right?, all i have to do now is end her my self, I don't need anyone close to my sweetheart” she said and burst into an evil laughter.
