Gamma Bond

She never heard Sam but could sense he kept pace with her easy. Still she enjoyed feeling like it was a legit race and he wasn’t a werewolf and she had a chance. They ran for 20 minutes and the town was so beautiful. This place was amazing. The houses were all different but somehow felt like one unit of a town. She couldn’t imagine it during the day with people. She stopped running when she heard water. She was breathing hard while Sam looked exactly like he did before she ran. His hair never moved. “I beat you!” She said while bent over trying to catch her breathe in between laughing. He stared at her with confusion. “That was a race?” Sam said. That made her loose it and she was belly laughing so hard she got on the ground on her back. When she stopped she realized that Sam hadn’t moved a muscle and she couldn’t guess what he was feeling. Oddly she usually could guess exactly what he felt. After the run cleared her head she decided she wasn’t mad at Sam but felt they needed to talk. She patted the ground beside her and said “Join me.” Sam took slow calculated steps then laid down beside her on the soft cool grass with some moss which added cushion. He was so still like she would change her mind, she wanted him to be her Sam again. Whatever that meant, she can dive into later. “Sam, relax. I’m not mad anymore. I guess it’s my fault. I don’t know if it’s a werewolf thing but I didn’t think I would have to ask for privacy. I was just embarrassed for someone to see me like that, let’s just forget about it” she hope this was something they could move past. “You won’t ever want me there?” Sam said after what felt like forever. She looked over at him and his eyes were closed and face strained. She was so confused. She reached out and laid her hand on his strong arm. “Sam I’m not experienced but from what I know about life it’s not normal for multiple people to be intimate. I don’t want anything crazy, just a normal relationship. I just don’t understand, can you help me to?” Sam kept his eyes closed but reached up his hand to cover hers that was on his bicep. “I wish Alpha was here to help explain. I’m not good with words Luna.” Sam sounded like he was almost pouting to her which made her giggle again. She laughed so hard that there were tears. She must be drawn to him because while laughing she ended up rolling on him. With how she was laying his arm would so easily wrap around her and all she had to do was lay her head down to have it on his chest. He looked so serious again. Maybe if she laid on him it would make it easier for him to open up, so she did. It was familiar now, he held her a lot these last couple days to make her feel safe. If felt right to return that comfort to him. She lowered her head onto his chest and heard his heartbeat going so fast and his breathing was so uneven and felt nervous. Past that she felt how strong this man was, there was no body fat but with him being such a large man his chest muscles felt like pillows. She breathed in his smell and felt safe almost immediately, she loved this whether she wanted to or not. Would Odin be mad? That’s her biggest fear in this is what he thinks. “Would Odin get jealous that I love this, that this makes me feel safe?” Sam gasped then trained those beautiful blue eyes on her while sitting up on his right arm. “You love this? Being in my arms?” He looked scared for her answer. She couldn’t hear his heartbeat but she didn’t know if it was waiting for her response as much as him or if he just moved her over too much for her to hear. “I feel like it’s wrong, I don’t really know all there is to know about mates but I feel like loving you holding me must be wrong.” He sat up all the way which coaxed her into a half sitting half lying position in his lap. He took both his hands and cradled her face like this was the answer to all his problems. When he locked those emotional blue eyes that were glowing onto her eyes she decided the hell with what’s right or wrong, she’s living by instinct from now on. His hands felt so rough against her and everywhere they touched that warm safe feeling seeped in. “It’s not wrong, Luna. I would never do anything to upset my Alpha, the only thing above that loyalty is your life. If the Alpha gave an order that could end in your demise I would be resistant to it. That’s the only time I would do anything to upset him, for your life. I cherish it more than my own. Nobody loves and protects a Luna like a Gamma.” His words felt so right to her. She didn’t have the urge to kiss him like if it were Odin but she felt right being in his touch. She wanted to make him feel like he made her feel but didn’t know how to do that. Odin would know, she will ask him later. Right now, it felt right to bond with Sam. “Will you still love me when I’m not a Luna? You heard that man, he refuses.” Sam looked hurt. He really didn’t have a response to her question and already wasn’t good with words so let his instincts run him. He pulled her face toward his and nuzzled his face into the side of her neck. He breathed in deep and hoped she would do the same and possessively wrapped her into his embrace. This was what he was made for. She made a noise that showed she felt the heat that he generates just for her, something only Gammas provide. She would start feeling sleepy soon if she stayed in his embrace. “I’m hopefully he will make you the official Luna of the pack, true. But don’t get mistaken, you are my Luna. Odin knows I’ve started bonding and he’s not interfering. It’s my choice.” She loved Sam. She was done being mad at herself for thinking this is crazy and not understanding stuff. She knew she loved Sam and if anything wanted to stay for him. How that fits in her plan she doesn’t know but she will figure it out. He would be great with Cassie, she knew it! “Do you have the patience for one more question?” She didn’t want to ruin the mood but also needed to get this conversation out of the way. He still had his face in her neck and wasn’t moving but with a grunt she took as a yes she asked “Is it normal for you to be involved with s*x? Do other Gammas do that?” She felt a pull towards him but it wasn’t like what she felt for Odin. When she saw him at the table though, it was embarrassed for sure but she couldn’t decide if she wanted him there or not. If she looked past what felt right or wrong she still couldn’t tell. She was just to inexperienced and embarrassed. With that question he picked his head up but kept her wrapped up in him. She could tell it was a hard question for him to answer which made her groan. That means it’s a complicated answer. “It happened before… it’s just been awhile. Like a long while. It hasn’t been done since the original Alpha and Luna. From what we know the Luna was with both the Alpha and Gamma physically. Odin and me had our mines open to each other when things were heating up. I felt everything he felt and vice versa. There was no jealousy and it felt right to be there. I’ve been with woman before but seeing you being pleased by the Alpha… woah! Luna, please. I would beg on my knees for that again.” With her new mantra of live by instincts she responded “Take me to him then!”
