Warm House

Samuel wasn’t pushy in the car ride. He just sat quietly beside her and worked on what looked like emails on his phone. She realized he didn’t ask her address but I guess he would know if he had her information to hire her. What happened to her life? This was all so much and it felt like the realization of everything was hitting her all at once. She never cried but here she was for the second time today and both happening in front of Samuel! She felt his eyes on her again. “Are you ok?” She looked up and for the 100th time in only a couple hours she saw those intense blue eyes looking her over. He sat rigid like he was bracing himself and all at once aware of everything around the vehicle. His blonde hair was so neat and short like he was ready for war and his shoulders looks like he went to one with how strong he was. She had the same urge to go to him like she did in the conference room. “Tell me what’s wrong?!” He was almost desperate now and she couldn’t understand it. She reached her hand up and his face showed the same surprise she saw in the conference room. He took in a big breathe and just held it as she slid her soft small hand into his rough large one. That warm feeling spread all over and she without even thinking about it started climbing into his lap like a child. He eagerly snatched her up like she would change her mind and tucked her body into his. That same warm feeling washed over her. Like a cat laying in the sun she felt warm and calm. Sam’s hands engulfed her and just held her into him. His breathing was calm and curled up against his chest she would raise up slightly when he breathed in when he breathed out she would lower deeper into him and feel his warm breather against her hair and neck. She can’t recall how long they were like that but she could stay like this forever. She couldn’t remember falling asleep but when she woke she was tucked into the same person and felt his arms twitching around her which she realized was him texting. She raised her head up and before she could speak gasped because she realized she was in a huge house that looked very quaint somehow. “How long have I been asleep?” She realized it’s probably been a while with how her voice sounded. “The boss is on his way home if that’s any indication, you had an emotional day. You needed the sleep. Are you hungry?” She didn’t really want to get up but she realized this would probably get Sam in trouble. “Not really, but shouldn’t we go get my stuff?” Sam didn’t speak but just pointed over to her bags, or we’ll bag. “You really didn’t have a lot of stuff.” Just then the door opened and in walked Odin like he owned the place, ugh does he have that effect just all the time! Well I guess he does own this place. She froze being caught in this position with Sam but he made no movement. Odin locked in on it immediately but she couldn’t read his face, she was holding her breathe expecting an explosion. “Sam, did you explain everything?” Cryptic.. and not what she expected to happen. “No boss.” The way they were looking at each other it looked like they were still talking but weren’t saying anything. She felt embarrassed being in his lap and started to get off. Her body was so stiff from being in the same position. Sam grabbed her waist and sat her beside him still way to close to be appropriate. “Your pushing it Sam, she’s unmarked and my wolfs raging.” She forgot how gravely Odins voice can sound and her body immediately reacted. Samuel jumped up unexpectedly and the stern mask was back in place. Alpha, I’ll be outside if you need me. Mendy make dinner which will be ready in 15 from the oven. Have a good night.” With that Ally and Odin we’re alone in the all to quiet room. “Where’s the restroom?” Odin pointed to a door then walked off down the hall. When she walked out it was just her, Odin didn’t return. She took in the room. It was warm with floral wallpaper and fresh flowers on the coffee table. A woman definitely tan this house because cozy blankets were perfectly placed throughout the couch which could fit a full football team. There was definitely love and life in this living room. There was an open concept with the kitchen, dining room and living room. This house was perfect, something like a dream for Ally the orphan. That’s not who she was anymore though and one day Cassie wouldn’t be either. Ding! The oven beeped and after waiting a couple minutes to see if Odin would return she went in the kitchen and pulled out a massive dish of lasagna. She made a plate and sat after another 20 minutes of Ally debating what to do. After scarfing it down and waiting another 30 she decided to put it up so it wouldn’t go bad left out all night. She decided to get ready for bed and realized that she would either have to sleep on the couch and walk and find where Odin went to ask which room is hers. She decided to look for Odin. The Hallway was just as pretty as the rest of the house and she realized looking out of a huge window that she was actually on a third or fourth floor and it looked like in the middle of a forest of some sort. She heard a noise and froze, sounded like someone was fighting somebody so she ran and threw a door open! All she saw was Odin with his hand on his c*** panting and moaning. The sound of skin on skin that she thought was fighting was just him touching himself! She gasped and ran back to the living room bathroom and locked the door. She leaned against the door and slid down, she was so stupid to run in! Knock knock knock! “Ally, what we’re you doing barging in my room!” Odin said through the door, he sounded so angry she wanted to just stay quiet. “Your on my personal floor but that doesn’t mean you can walk in on me. You may be my mate but I’m not claiming you! Grrr!” With that he walked away. She didn’t even know what mate meant yet, she needed to make a list in her phone of questions to ask Sam. She unlocked the door and peaked out and when she felt the coast was clear she crept back to the living room to find her phone, she hasn’t been on it all day. When she touched the screen she had multiple missed calls and a voicemail… it was Cassie. She may get adopted. Ally wanted to be so happy for Cassie but she couldn’t find it in her to be. That was her family, she was there when baby Cassie showed up and now they are inseparable. This days been so long. Ally decided it was to late to call the home Cassie was at so decided to just lay on the couch with one of those blankets left. Ally fell asleep the second she laid down. She awoke to the sound of a vacuum. Confused she sat up to find a lady that looked like she would be on the cover of a muffin brand or gravy or something. She was a plump lady in an old fashion blue dress that had to have been in her 60s. “Oh dear! I didn’t see you there! Why aren’t you in your room!” Then she saw her face, half her face looked like a wild beast clawed at it years ago. Did Odin hurt her?!
