Chapter 10: The Princess And The Pauper

"Their back!" Silver yelled happily. When we walked in in everyone bowed. "This is where you'll all be sleeping" a guide said opening the door to our room. I didn't want to be in my room so I bunked with Silver, Kiba, and Sora. As night came I was tossing and turning in my sleep, so I woke up and climbed onto the top of the roof, it was a cool night, alive with sounds, I sighed.

"It's a nice night" a voice said behind me. I turned around to see whose voice it was it was Sora. "Oh hi Sora" I said. He sat next to me and looked out into the sky, after awhile Sora looked at me. "What are you looking at me for?" I asked, defensively.

"Just looking at you for the last time" he said sadly. "Don't worry I have time to spend with you" I said lovingly. Silver and Kiba were are the other side. "What's on your mind Silv?" Kiba asked her. "Just wondering if my family is okay" she replied. "I'm sure their alright" he said. "I miss them" she said with tears running down her cheeks.

I heard her crying. "Poor Silver" I said, tears filling in my eyes. "Oh, Rena" Sora said sympathetically. I started to cry, Sora put his arm around me and laid my head on his chest. Silver and Kiba left the roof quietly. We heard footsteps climbing up the roof. "Drake" I whispered to Sora.

"Come on let's go" he said, crawling to the window. I was following Sora when he slipped and fell to the edge of the roof. "Whoa!" Sora yelled grabbing the edge with one hand. "Are you okay?" I asked peering over. The footsteps were getting closer. "Come on, jump" he whispered to me. "I'm not jumping" I whispered fiercely.

"I promise I'll catch you, I promise" he said. "Promise?" I asked, making sure he meant what he said. "Cross my heart and hope die" he promised. "Okay" I said, still unsure. I jumped down and Sora caught me with his free hand. "What's going here, I thought I heard Rena crying" Drake said, worriedly. "Uh that was me crying" Silver said.

"Have any of you guys seen Rena? tomorrow's the big day" he explained. "Is he still there?" Sora asked. I peered up. "Yes" I said sadly. "We can wait till he's gone" Sora said. I nodded in agreement. "Well if you see her, tell her I need to see her" Drake said, climbing down.

I looked up at Silver and Kiba. "Thanks guys we owe you one" I whispered. Sora lost his grip and we both tumbled down. Silver and Kiba bolted down to where we were. I landed on Sora's back. "Sorry Sora" I said apologetically. "It's all right" he said groaning.

"We need to do something about Drake" Kiba said. "Yeah, we need to send him somewhere" Sora said. Sora and Kiba were devising several plans that would probably never work. Silver pulled me aside. "I have a better plan" she told me. "Let's hear it" I said. she told me her plan.

"That's perfect!" I exclaimed happily. The next day came. "Oh, Rena you up yet?" Drake asked opening the door. Torua was there instead. "Oh sorry Torua, have you seen Rena?" he asked. "She's out" she said softly. "Oh thanks for telling me" he said, leaving.

We spent the day having fun. "Okay you know the plan, right?" Silver asked. "Yes, I know the plan' I answered. Soon we returned back and I was dragged into a little place where I dressed for the wedding. "Are you ready Rena?" Drake asked. "Yes, I'm ready" Silver said in my voice. "Come out and let me look at you" he said.

Silver walked out in a flowing white pearled dress. "Let the wedding begin" Drake said. "So, Silver what are we going to do now that Rena is no longer with us?" Kiba asked. "I'm not sure, let's wait and find out" I said impersonating Silver. It was time for the wedding to start, the preacher started saying the vows when Boom. "What was that?" a guest asked, bringing her child close. "Don't worry it was nothing, now can we get a move on" Drake snapped.

There was a second explosion. "Sire there are three men outside waiting for them" a male white wolf said, pointing at us. "Rena come" I said to Silver. We walked outside and saw the three men out there. "Silver you want to take this one" I said. "Sure I need you to do something, here!" she yelled, throwing her knife. "Are you sure, Silver?" I asked, unsure.

"Yes, get everyone out of here then cut my arm" Silver said. "You guys know what to do" I said to the others. "Sure we'll get everyone out" Axel said. "Yes, now go!" I yelled. I ran to Silver and used the knife to cut her arm and trigger the Blood Rage. "Mmm the legendary Blood Rage, only a few wolves can have this ability" one man said. Silver only growled her response.

"Um...Sweetie?" Drake said poking Silver's arm. Silver turned to him and growled loudly. "This place is crazy, I'm getting out of here" he said scaredly. Drake turned and ran till he was out of sight. "Good job Silver" I said, patting her arm, returning her to normal. "Thanks it was nothing" she said happily. A few days later we were saying our good-byes.

"Are you really leaving us, Sissy" Ponica whined. "Yes we overstayed our visit here, we'll be back here soon" I said. "Good-bye" we all yelled walking and waving. When we were out of view, I asked Sora a question. "Where to next, Sora?" I asked. "I have no clue" he said. "We'll follow the road and where ever it may lead us" I said. We ran toward the sun.
