Chapter 7: Reunited By An Old Friend

"Rena... Rena wake up" a voice said to me. "WAKE UP!" the voice yelled at me. "wha" I said confused. "Who called my name" I said angerly. "Rena, help me" the voice said.

"Wait that's... Meziku's voice, Meziku" I said walking toward the mist. Sora awoke as soon as the mist swallowed me. "Where's Rena?" Sora asked, looking to where I was sleeping and saw I was gone. "Great now I have to go and find her"Sora said, getting up to follow my tracks. I wandered far away from the gang.

"Okay, I'm here mysterious voice, what do you want?" I asked madly. "Is that any way to talk to a friend" the voice said. "Wait, what?" I asked, confused. I looked over to where the voice could be heard the loudest and saw a figure with the shoulder split open. "Is that you, Meziku?" I asked, running toward her, but instead I went right through her.

"Wait why did I go through you? you look so real" I said sadly. "I may look real, but I'm a ghost" she said. "A ghost?!" I said, backing away scared. "Yes and no, I'm more of a guardian angel sent to you" she said calmly. "Why did they send you back as a guardian angel?" I asked.

She giggled. "You'll find out soon my couragous friend, till then good-bye" Meziku said, as the mist consumed her. "Good-bye my friend" I whispered to the mist. "There you are, I was looking for you" a voice said behind me. I reacted without thinking and jumped on whoever scared me. "Hey it's me Sora" he said. "Sorry Sora I thought you were someone else" I said. "Achoo" I sneezed. "Come on, let's get you back, your still not well enough to be outside" he said, gesturing the way back.

"Good morning, everyone" Meka said. "Morning" they all said. "Hey, has anyone seen Sora and Rena?" Axel asked. "Not since last night" Kiba said. "Do you think they went for a walk? a midnight walk" Kazuma asked, stifling a laugh.

Silver punched him. "Ow, why did you do that?" Kazuma asked, feeling his head for anything. "They probably went out to get something" Silver said. Sora and I appeared. "Good your back, now let's head out to our next destination" Meka said, opening a map.

"We're here in the Hiyaoshi Forest and we need to get here to Mezarmutia City" Meka said, pointing on the map. "What's a city?" I asked them. They all turned to face me. "Did I just here her say what's a city" Akoya said. "Yes, that's exactly what I said" I said getting a little mad.

"Oh!" Meka said, before she fainted. "Can someone help Meka up" Silver said impatiently. "Sora, help me out, what's a city?" I asked in a whisper. "You'll see when we get there" he whispered. A little while later we were on a hill where you could see the city. I peered at the city. "So that's what a city looks like" I said.

"Yep, that's Mezarmutia City" Kiba said proudly. "What makes it famous is the Saikoushi Beach and cabins" "Ooh let's go there" Silver said wiggling her wolf body. "I don't see what the harm could be" Kazuma said. "Plus it would be nice for all of us to sleep in a bed at least once" Kiba said happily. They all transformed into humans.

Silver looked at me still in wolf form. "Come on, Rena, show us what you look like in human form" Sliver said excitedly. "Um all right" I said reculantly. I stood still and closed my eyes as I felt my body change. "How do I look?" I asked, scared of what they might say.

"You look great" Sora managed to say. I walked over to a little shop with mirrors outside of it. I had black hair with red streaks in it, the only thing that remained the same were my eyes. "Hey, Rena, will you go shopping with us?" Akoya asked. "Um I don't know" I shuffled my feet nervously.

"Come on it'll be fun" Akoya said, grabbing me by my wrist. "Hey come on guys, it's her first time in a city, I was thinking-" Sora was cut off by one of the others, then they all started arguing. (They'll stop soon) I thought as I left the group to wander around. I wander off a little ways when I saw a poster that said: PARTY AT THE ABANDONDED WAREHOUSE EVERYONE WELCOMED STARTS AT 9:00 P.M. "Hey, guys!" I yelled, they continued on arguing. "HEY GUYS!" I yelled louder.

"What?" they all said in unison. "Could we go here?" I asked pointing to the poster. "What is it?" Axel asked. I handed him the poster, they all huddled around it to see what it said. While they were reading it I sat down on a rock. "Rena, we all thought about and we decided we're going" Akoya said happily. "Really, all right" I said.

Everyone cheered except Sora. "What's wrong, Sora?" I asked him. "We don'r have dates to take to the dance" he said. "That's a simple fix, we all go with one another" Akoya said. "Why didn't I think of that" Sora said. "Here's the plan us girls are going to get dresses while you guys go and get tuxedoes" Akoya said. "Um I'll go with the guys to help pick out their tuxes" I said.

"You sure, Rena?" Meka asked. "I'm sure, Silver should know what dress I like" I said to her. "All right Ray, you go with the guys, come on girls" Meka said,turning away. The guys gave a look. "What? is it strange for a girl to go with the guys to help them get tuxedoes?" I asked. "Um, no not all" they said. "Well come on" I said dragging them.

After a while the guys found their tuxes. We joined the girls outside with their dresses in protective sleeves. "Now that we have our partyware, let's get to Saikoushi Beach and get our cabin then get ready for the party" Axel said. "All right" we said. We got the cabin without anything going wrong. We got two cabins one for the girls and one for the guys. We went to our cabins and started getting ready for the party.

"Aaah, we look amazing" Meka said happily. "Wait where's little Ray?" Meka asked. "She said she's not going, City jitters is what I'd call it" Silver explained. "Sora will be disappointed" Meka said sadden by the thought. "He'll understand why Rena didn't want to go" Silver said.

There was a knocking at the door, Meka opened it to let the guys in. "Whose ready to party!" Axel shouted. "We are!" the girls said. "Wait I see three lovely ladies, where's our ray of darkness?" Axel asked. "City jitters" Silver explained.

"Sora's going to be devasted" Kiba said. "Come on, let's go" Kazuma said. The gang left. I sighed. "I hate this, I wanted to go but I couldn't, I hope they understand, especially Sora" I said.

"You should go my dear" a voice said. "Whose there?" I said looking round the cabin. "Over here" the voice said. I walked over to where the voice was coming from. "Aah that never gets old" the pesron said.

"W-w-who are you?" I asked scaredly. I'm Juliet" the girl said kindly. "What are you doing here?" I asked harshly. "Well aren't we a little fiesty" Juliet said tauntingly. "why are you here?" I asked.

"Oh to tell you to go to the party" Juliet said happily. "Why should I" I said angerly. "Cause someone needs you" she said softly. "Fine, I'll go, but I'm not dancing" I said grudgingly. "Good" Juliet said happily. Juliet helped me into my black dress and my high heels. "Um Juliet could you replace the heels with something like boots?" I asked. "No,sorry" Juliet said. "All right, bye Juliet" I said, while I was going out the door.

"What, Rena's not coming to the party!" Sora yelled out. "Try to understand, Sora, she wanted to come but her nerves got the better of her, so she couldn't make it" Akoya said, trying to make him understand."Oh all right, it is her first time in a city" Sora said reculantly. "Cheer up, bro you'll find someone in there" Kiba said, trying to get Sora's hopes up. "All right" Sora said, walking inside the warehouse. After the gang entered the party I was at the steps. "Made it" I said, trying to catch my breath. I smoothed out my dress and entered the building, without noticing Sora sitting down and sighing, I ran up to the balcony.
