Nora   The hole in the base of the tree on the other side.   Like a f*****g rabbit hole in a fairytale.   Sort of.   She slipped into the familiar hollow of the tree, into the dirt tunnel filled with thick sheets of cobwebs. Tree roots that felt like hands grabbing at her while she slid at a downward angle like a tunnel slide at a park. A memory tugged at her while she inched through the tunnel.   “They don’t understand what the park is, Alex, we should take them home and let them color.”   Alex frowned and carried Orion on his back, headed straight for the large yellow and green structure. “They’ll learn, Nora. This is what kids do.”   She followed with Evander on her own back. “Let’s give it a shot.” She knew it wouldn’t do anything. The boys weren’t interested in anything
