They were spotting these demon pick-ups all too easily now. Even Katelyn could see them before they happened.
It was as though they walked around with a bright neon sign overhead that said “come get me, I’m abducting children to…” whatever the f**k they were doing with them.
It was one whole week of the torture. One week of Gabe and Katelyn pretending neither existed, but complained about one another when the other wasn’t around.
