Alex breathed heavily into her, not caring about the Devil behind him. He leaned in and kissed her and took her hand. He squeezed it as he turned around to face Lucifer.
Lucifer was red in the face, but at the moment, looked like nothing compared to Alex.
“Your pet was using my wife as a sideshow before he attempted to suck her soul out of her chest for his own twisted bit of some sort of power trip.”
Lucifer’s jaw ticked and his eyes narrowed between them. “Nora, you—”
“You were supposed to have my parents together, Lucifer. That was the deal, was it not?”
