Nora   He looked like hell. Truly. Blood caked on his face and body, he looked beaten down and broken.   Nora’s mother came up behind and gasped again. She had become a gasper in her time down here, it seemed. “C…” she sniffled and didn’t finish. She knelt down beside him on the ground while Nora messed with the locks holding him there.   “Alina,” he sighed, his battered head leaned into her hand. “My Alina.” When her hand cupped his cheek, he kissed her palm with his chapped and scabbed lips.    “Costas…” she cried. “What are you doing here?”   He breathed in and out while Nora beat the locks to death until she freed his first hand. He reached over and pulled Nora down to him and wrapped an arm around her. “Nora, you shouldn’t be here. You know what Lucifer said.”   “Lucifer?”
