Chapter 29 Among the boats to join in the rescue was one commandeered by Deputy Sheriff Yates, accompanied by two uniformed constables. Concordia stayed aboard The Decoy, anxiously watching the proceedings. Yates flashed a steely look in her direction as he climbed into the Susan D and helped haul Sir Anthony, Reese, and Decker out of the water.
