Chapter 31 Yates whipped off his hat as he joined them in the parlor. “My men are waiting in the carriage to take the prisoner to the East Hampton jail for tonight. We’ll be transporting him to Riverhead in the morning. What’s left of that cider flask is headed there, too, for examination.
