The party continued for a few more minutes. People were dancing.
Zade wasn’t paying anymore but yet I could tell that he had his whole focus on keeping me safe.
The man had looked away but even from a distance I could still see him throwing glances at me at intervals which made me really uncomfortable.
My voice fails me as I try to whisper something and absolutely nothing comes out.
One of the men standing right behind us walks up to Zade and whispers something in his ears as the defeated look spreads across his face.
Zade turns to look at me before gripping his tie.
I think I have something to tend to right now and I can’t let this go but don’t move an inch from this damn place , I don’t want Killian killing me today it’s definitely not my time.
