“Dean, are all wolves in place to make sure the fire doesn’t get out of control?” I ask. Safety first. Kate can suffer a few minutes more.
“Yes, Alpha,” Dean confirms. “There’s also a fire truck on standby if necessary.”
“How the hell did you manage that?” I flip my eyebrow at him.
“Let’s just say we borrowed it for tonight,” he grins.
“I’m not even going to ask what that means,” I sigh. “Joe, take Kate to the car. Dean and Nathan, search through the vans and confiscate the money. There should be plenty with the amount that was loaded. Also, tie those wolves and load them into one of the vans. Dean, please take them to the dungeon.”
I deactivate the device to open the mind link for the pack and follow Joe and Kate to the car. The scratches that Kate inflicted, are burning like fire.
