The clinic looks deserted and run down. It is pretty much in the same shape as the pack house, just worse.
“This looks like a place where you get diseases and not cure them,” I look at it with horror.
“This is not going to be a quick fix solution,” Nathan agrees. “Of all the replacements, this one is going to be the hardest.”
We stop and get out, dragging the injured wolves along.
“Hello!” I roar when we enter the double sliding glass door, my voice echoing against the walls. The inside is not much better than the outside. Everything is old and outdated, but at least it is clean.
“I’m coming,” a voice screams down the hallway, followed by a nurse rushing towards us. The moment she sees the restraint patients, she stops in her tracks and looks wide-eyed at us.
