It was another day of wonder for me. Each day seemed to be a mystery that slowly unfolds itself as the day went by, and surely, I was looking forward to it.
“I don’t know if I would thank the king or what for destroying the barnyard, but I certainly wasn’t complaining.” Skylar chuckled while washing the dishes on the palace’s kitchen sink while I was drying all the plates on the counter.
“Hm…I don’t know. I kinda miss it.” But not the poop and dirty animals. Just the silence and the calming ambiance that the place was giving me whenever I was there.
