I groaned and cupped my aching head.
I felt like someone had just mercilessly smashed my head with a freaking hammer because of the headache that attacked my being the moment I gained consciousness. What happened?
“Aww…” I hissed when I sit up, feeling very dizzy.
Was I sick or something? Because I know that this dizziness and pounding head, I was feeling wasn’t from tiredness anymore.
Suddenly, I felt a warm arm wrapped around the back of my waist.
“Don’t move. Just keep still.” My head quickly snapped upward when I heard Cadmus's voice and the action made my head spin like crazy. He sighed. “You’re just going to keep hurting yourself if you continue moving.”
