“I’ve heard you’ve been looking for me,” Rose said after entering the kitchen.
We didn’t have to look for her because she was the one who came to us the moment she heard that the king had ordered something.
Skylar bowed at her while I just remained in my position. I didn’t know if she just let it pass or if she really didn’t notice because she didn’t say anything. Though, in my defense, I would have been different to her if she just acted nicer not just to me or Skylar, but also to the other servants, but no, she didn’t. She treats every servant as if they were beneath her when in fact, they both just stood on the same ground, breath the same air, and see the same things. Meaning, we were all equal.
