"Brother! Hurry up! We'll be late!" shouted Alicia from the home page.
"Don't be too hasty, take it easy," I replied.
"What do you mean? It's our first day of entering high school. Tardiness is something that can't be tolerated," Alicia explained, approaching me.
"You're too stiff. That's what it will be like if you continue to follow the school rules all your life." I looked sadly while wearing shoes.
Her face was flushed from my teasing.
"Slow! Too slow! You're like a child just learning how to wear shoes ...." Alicia grabbed my arm, forcing me to stand up.
I flicked Alicia's forehead softly. "My shoelaces aren't tied yet," I said, making a glancing gesture.
"Ah ..." Alicia was silent for a moment, confirming. "... sorry, wait a minute." Then Alicia crouched down, tying my shoelaces quickly.
"Have you?" I looked down at the top of his head, asked.
"Already. Come on, let's go," she said, back to standing parallel to me.
It was only a few blocks from our house to the school. So it doesn't matter if we walk.
My age and age are only a few months apart, it makes us in the same generation. I was born in January while she was in July.
On the way, Alicia continued the conversation.
"Hey, bro."
"What?" I ask.
We walked past the mansions with big houses which of course belonged to the rich. I looked at the houses one by one, wondering how they were so rich.
"No. I was just wondering if we would be put in the same class?"
I was silent for a moment, staring at him. "I don't know either. If you're so inclined to be in my class ... just pray."
"You're right. I'm just not sure I'll be okay." Alicia looks gloomy.
It was unusual for him to act spoiled like this.
"Don't overdo it. You will definitely have a lot of friends."
"I know that. That's not the reason. I want you to have lots of friends too. Now you're in high school. Isn't it time to mingle with society?"
"Mingle with society, huh?"
"Won't more friends be better?" he asked innocently.
"Who said that? It doesn't make sense. In fact, the more friends you have, the more things to protect, and that must be troublesome." I looked away, put my hands in my pockets.
Her eyes were puckered, her lips moved in an inverted semicircle. He is angry.
"Fine. I won't force you anymore" Then she walked faster, leaving me behind.
A caring little sister, huh?
.
.
.
The school bell had been ringing for a long time, which meant we were late.
"Look! Because you were caring too much, we were late on the first day of school. That's ridiculous," snorted Alicia irritably.
"Hm ... maybe we're just a little late. Let's just pass," I suggested.
"Ugh ...." Alicia bit her lower lip, walking towards the school gate, intending to follow my plan.
"You can't enter!" It turned out that the gatekeeper held us back.
"We're just a little late, aren't we? What's wrong with letting us in?" pleaded Alicia, begging.
"Sorry. Rules are rules. Even if the noble's son is late, I will not let him in," said the gatekeeper firmly.
"Nonsense ...." A spontaneous sentence escaped my mouth.
Because it was obvious he was lying. There was no way a human of low rank seemed to dare to deter a noble.
"What did you say?" he asked offended.
As the gatekeeper looked me directly in the eye, I used telepathic magic on him.
A transparent wave shot through his head, shredding through some of the gatekeeper's memories and replacing them in an instant.
In a moment, the gatekeeper's eyes were blank, and when he realized he said, "Ha? What are you two doing here? Hurry in before the bell rings."
Alicia gasped in surprise at the guard's strange change in attitude. "Before the bell rings?" He wondered why the guard looked like he had forgotten his memory.
"Yes, already ... we have to get in before the bell rings," I said while pushing Alicia's back.
As we were walking through the gate, a woman came, stopping in front of the gatekeeper.
"Sorry, I was late–"
"Get in quickly! Soon the bell will ring!" commanded the gatekeeper, interrupting the woman's sentence.
She was a beautiful woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. The height is just right, the body is slim too.
People who see it will immediately fall in love. However, I have no interest in romance.
Not. It's not that I'm not interested. However, dating is tiring. Having to reply to messages quickly, coming home from school together, giving gifts for birthdays ... children these days don't really understand the meaning of efficiency.
And you know what is the worst? Dating on holidays! How could it be!? Holidays are supposed to be times when we can laze on the bed, go to the bathroom without being disturbed, soak for more than an hour, and other wonderful things.
If you were dating, you would have spent 3 years during high school just for your crush and that sucks, right? Almost no privacy.
"That's so strange," muttered the woman, walking through the gate. When she saw us, she jogged over to him. "Hey, you guys! Is it true that the bell hasn't rung yet?"
"I don't know ... when I came earlier, the gatekeeper was trying to hold us back, even saying something like not letting a noble pass or something," explained Alicia, while I listened to them lazily.
"What does it mean?"
"Don't know. But a moment later, he invited us in." Alicia shrugged her shoulders.
"You're a good person, huh? Can immediately talk a lot to the people you just met. My name is Vania Vasco. Greetings!" The woman held out her hand.
So is that the definition of a good person now? It's totally off the mark from what I know. Even robbers can talk a lot when they are robbing a bank.
"My name is Alicia Kenzie. You can call me Alicia. Nice to meet you!"
"And he?" Her eyes turned to mine.
"Don't mind me. Just a passer-by. Alicia, I'll go first."
Avoiding something as troublesome as this is my specialty. I walked away while putting the bag on my back.
"He's so cold," Vania muttered irritably.
"That's my brother. He's just like that, doesn't like interacting with other people. Don't mind him."
"He's your brother ?! Hard to believe. Very different isn't it? I mean those of you."
Since Alicia is still pissed off with me, she tries to change the subject.
"We shouldn't be here too long. The opening ceremony seems to have started."
"Good." Vania nodded with a smile, walking with Alicia to the hall.
.
.
.
"Please calm down! The opening ceremony is about to start!" A middle-aged woman ordered us over the microphone.
From the very back row, I could see Alicia and vania who had just arrived.
Their breathing was irregular, it seemed they were running.
I wonder how someone could do something so troublesome like that.
"Huh ... luckily I still had time." Alicia came with sweat running down her forehead.
I saw Vania who was bending down because she was tired after running and then looked away.
"To the new student representatives, hopefully, get on the pulpit!" said the presenter.
I saw a handsome man with white hair and blue eyes walk up to the stage and stop on the pulpit, then start his speech.
"My dear friends, I as the new student representative will give a little welcome ...."
Whispers began to be heard about the man, both from men and women
"Hey, isn't he very handsome?" said the woman in front of me to her friend.
"Yes, very handsome!"
"Wasn't he the one who got the perfect score on yesterday's entrance test?" whispered the man next to me to his friend too.
Ohh ... a typical perfect human, huh? Very stupid. Is it that he really wants to be famous among girls? Wait. Is she really after boys?
Instantly I got goosebumps.
"My name is Devdan Bayanaka. My friends all know that this school is called "Macht ist alles ", which means strength is everything.
So we, as students who have been chosen by the school, must show our ability to give our best to the school. Train your abilities to become useful people for both the school and the country. And more importantly, be useful for yourself. That's all. "
The new student representative ended his speech with a nice closing.
There was loud applause from the new students and teachers as well, praise began to be heard everywhere
"He's already handsome, and he's also good at talking. So cool!"
Oi, oi ... you mammals are exaggerating too much. Are they so stupid that they like the same person?
The girls are already crazy about him even though he only gives words of greeting.
I don't know the mind of a mammal.
After the ceremony was over Alicia approached me,
"He's handsome, right?" asked Alicia.
"I thought you were still mad at me."
"So you do want me to be angry, don't you?" She folds her face.
"Seeing you angry isn't so bad."
"But I can't keep getting mad at you because it's the first day of school."
"What is the relation?" I asked innocently.
"Forget it!"
I think she's still angry.
We walked towards the class division notice board.
The class in this school has several levels. There are 3 levels, namely: Anfänger (beginner), Stark, and Unver.
Grades in order, Anfänger for beginners. Meaning they will be taught the basics in strength.
Stark is for intermediate levels, and Unver can be called for those who are experts. Alicia enters the Unver class while I am Anfänger, the caste difference is so big, huh?
But this is what I want. Being the center of attention is tiring. For me this is the best, avoiding anything troublesome.
"Too bad ... we are not in the same class ...." Alicia looked sad.
"Never mind, there's no need to be sad. After all, I'm not the one who's supposed to be sad here?"
"Is that true? Are you going to be all right?"
"Don't worry. As long as it's not a bother, I'll be fine."
"That's what I'm worried about ...."
I looked at her lazily, exhaling heavily. "Don't care too much, you can die quickly because of that."
"What the heck? If you really don't want to be noticed just say so. Don't make it up. Never mind, take care of yourself!" After saying that, Alicia left me.
She's still too naive. Don't know how this world works. Well ... there's no need to worry, I still have some business to do.
"Well ...."
Now it's my turn to go to class. Hopefully, my class is filled with a bunch of nerds who always read quietly in class. Or maybe an anti-social crowd is better?
