In a dark, stuffy room, with iron bars separating it from the outside world, Veda and Rohan lay helpless.
At their feet are attached chains that are connected between the two. The chain is big and strong, moreover, it has the function of sealing the ability that wears it.
Losing the battle had annoyed them, now they were even put in the prison belonging to their country's enemy.
"Absolutely disgraceful. Not enough to be paralyzed, we were put in jail too. That guy really pissed me off."
Rohan's jaw hardens remembering what he had experienced yesterday.
When it should have been, yesterday was a m******e. They also think they will get a big catch when they meet dogs belonging to eastern countries.
But what happened was the opposite.
"It's all because of that person! So I can't kill them."
Veda was annoyed at failing to devour his prey.
The "person" they were referring to was Aray.
"But my body really hurts from that weird wave."
Rohan tries to relax his shoulder, strangely it hurts even more.
"Hey! Is this okay? We got caught by the enemy, maybe we'll be interrogated or something?" The Vedas were worried seeing their very chaotic state.
"I don't know, we don't really work for the north after all."
"You are right."
The sound of footsteps from the prison passageway could be heard in their ears.
"Someone is coming, we have to be alert." Rohan was prepared for what might have happened.
A young woman came and stood in front of their cell.
"Both of you, come out! You will be interrogated."
Vedic guesses were right, they would definitely be asked a lot of questions.
The woman opened the cell with the key she was holding.
"Just go with it for now. We could get beat up if we don't comply, especially since we can't use abilities because of this chain." Rohan whispers to Veda.
Veda who understood Rohan's words immediately nodded.
They stood up but staggered a bit because of an array attack that disrupted their brain work.
"Give me your hands!" The woman took two pairs of handcuffs from her waist.
Veda and Rohan complied, reaching out so that it was easy to put the handcuffs on.
"Uh... How narrow! You guys measured it right didn't you?"
Veda protested at the woman for the very small size of the handcuffs.
Rohan looks at Veda in disbelief. How could it be in a situation like this that he still acted like that?
"Why would we do that to criminals like you. More importantly, follow me! Don't you dare think of running away?" The woman said firmly.
They walked past the other holding cells, their screams deafening.
"It's so noisy" Rohan grumbles.
After walking for quite a while, they finally arrived at a small room, in which there was only one table and three chairs.
"Sit down! Soon someone will come asking you some questions."
The woman closed the door, leaving them in the small room.
They took a deep breath, confused about what to answer the questions that would be asked of them.

"We're back, Your Majesty. We've handed over the intruders to those in charge. Unfortunately, we weren't able to save many civilians, and from the information, I have received, the casualty in yesterday's attack reached 765. It's exactly what we expected."
Aray reported on all the situations that had occurred during the intruder attack the other day.
"Good! You've done a very good job, although there are still many casualties. But it's also our fault for being late in giving news of the attack." King Avanindra also admits his mistake.
"Members of the 1st platoon are being treated in the palace's infirmary, they received pretty heavy injuries." Aray continued his report.
Hm? I'll reward them after they recover for having succeeded on their first mission. You also deserve a gift from me. What do you want?"
When King Avanindra offered Aray a gift, he only thought of one gift that would be most appropriate for him.
"Let me live my days with peace. Because doing something like this makes me dizzy, moreover I have to stay
go to school." That was his wish.
"Then you just need to get out of school right?"
Aray thought the king was right, but there was still one problem, Alicia would suspect if Aray suddenly dropped out of school. Living together also makes the situation even more complicated.
So Aray's decision is,
"No, I will still go to school, but if there is a call from the kingdom, I will come immediately. Also, let me take off work on Saturday & Sunday, It will be a refresher for my hard days."
"Haha... you're really interesting. Alright, I'll grant your wish." The king nodded.
Aray smiled inwardly. Finally, a holiday that was very precious to him would not be disturbed.
But the king didn't expect Aray to want one more thing.
"Your Majesty, I still have one more request."
The king raised his eyebrows.
Then Aray explained what he wanted.

After finishing reporting the current situation to King Avanindra, Aray walked through the palace halls and met someone.
"Aray! Here you are, I have brought the two prisoners to the interrogation room. You're the one who gonna do it, aren't you?"
Mrs. Daiva approached Aray by telling her that she had done what Aray asked.
"Of course. Take me there."
"Then follow me!" Mrs. Daiva walked in front of Aray, taking the lead.
They walked down the stairs to the basement, where the palace prison was.
Passing the cells of the prisoners and ending in a small room in which 2 prisoners are talking.
"From here on out, leave it to me."
Aray invited Mrs. Daiva to leave him.
Mrs. Daiva nodded, turned, and walked away back to the surface.
When Mrs. Daiva's back was out of sight, Aray opened the door.
.
.
.
The door of the small room opened, revealing a figure that Rohan and Veda desperately didn't want to see again.
"Time to resume our previously delayed reunion." The man said an annoying thing with a straight face and sat across from them.
Rohan and Veda glare at him.
They wanted to beat up the person in front of them right now, but they knew they couldn't do it.
Not because of the handcuffs or chains that bound them, but indeed because the difference in their strength was too great.
Even though they believed that this man was younger than them.
"What do you want to ask us?" Rohan starts the conversation.
"Just a few things, it won't take long. First of all, let me tell you, that I know your past."
"What do you mean?" Rohan frowns.
"I'm sorry, but when you were unconscious, I entered your mind and looked through the memories in your life. I can say we are the same."
"Damn it! What have you done to us?"
Veda stood up from his seat and tried to attack Aray with the handcuffs wrapped around his hands.
But his movement was stopped instantly by the telekinesis that Aray used on him.
"Hold on, research object number 16. I'm not done talking yet."
Rohan and Veda's eyes widen hearing something that cannot be ignored from Aray's mouth.
"How did you know?" Rohan asks suspiciously.
"I told you, research object number 17. This is our delayed reunion."
"Who exactly are you?"
Now that Aray knows of their past, he can't just be let go.
"If you want to avenge the person who did that to you, then I am your ally. We have the same goal."
"So you were one of the kidn*pped kids too?" The Vedas are aware of something.
"I don't know. Maybe yes, maybe not."
The answer is very ambiguous.
"Don't trust this guy so easily, Veda. We don't know what he's up to." Rohan commemorates the Vedas.
"Huh... actually I don't want to
doing such a troublesome thing, but, no matter what, you won't believe me until I prove it, will you?”
Aray comes closer and extends both hands to Rohan and Veda.
"What do you want to do?" The two of them tried to move backward, but again Aray used telekinesis on them.
"You guys shut up."
Aray placed his hand on the foreheads of the two, chanting a spell.
"Distributed memory."
A small light shoots out from Aray's fingertips, penetrating Rohan's and Veda's heads.
That tiny light contained thousands to millions of important information in Aray's memory. It can also be called memory.
Rohan and Veda begin to see the memories of Aray's life in a moving picture.
Memories after memories kept popping up in their heads until finally, their vision began to blur, the images stopped appearing.
"Hah ... hah ... hah... " They came back to their senses.
"Haha... what a terrible memory." Rohan laughs gloomy.
"Yeah, I'm surprised this guy was able to get through it all and still live until now." Veda wiped the sweat dripping from his face.
"How? Do you believe it?" Aray asked with a straight face.
"Of course we believe if you force your memories on us." Veda frowns.
"I also know that you are only working for the northern government to find the people who brought suffering to your life. But now, your status is as a prisoner. I also believe this news has reached the king of the northern countries. Then you have no place to return to. right?"
"You're right. Then what should we do?" Rohan asks seriously.
"Join us and join the army of this eastern kingdom."
Rohan and Veda were so shocked that they even jumped slightly from their seats.
"You're joking, right? How can an intruder be part of the country he attacks?" Rohan really couldn't believe that Aray said seriously.
"Besides, even if you're serious about saying that, how do you get the king to accept us?" The Vedas ask something very important.
"Don't worry, before I even asked you to join, the king already agreed to this," Aray said flatly.
Rohan and Veda chuckled at the look on Aray's face.
"Even if you look like that, you're a well-prepared person too, aren't you? Well, we'll follow you until we get our revenge on those people."
Now the situation has completely reversed.
From enemy to friend.
I don't know what will happen in the days to come.
