Meghan shuddered. She didn’t have any problem with Nicole and what she was, but the concept of someone doing the same thing to her mother – without her consent – to mess with Meg, was inherently wrong. Though it ultimately meant her mother being healed and waking up, Meg couldn’t reconcile the idea of being violated by such an abuse of power. “Who would do that?” Mark shook his head. “I don’t know.” He breathed in and noticed the smell was getting stronger in the bedroom.
