If I hazarded a guess, I’d say someone followed her here, knocked her out and went back for a car.” “So, basically, there’s no way to track her.” He nodded. “You still haven’t been able to get through to Mark?” “No, he isn’t responding at all.” David heard the aggravation in his voice. Mark was the responsible one, what could possibly make him cut off contact like this? It wasn’t like him. “What is going on here?
