Chapter 2

Taylor

Today I decided that the park would be better than being here I don't want to deal with amber she's probably already plotting some evil plan to torture me so to avoid another punishment I'm going to the park for today.

I got out of bed and went into the bathroom to do my business and brush my teeth after doing all of that I went into my closet and picked out a cute outfit to ware. Once I had my outfit together I got dressed and put my hair in to ponytails and grabbed my backpack and put me.wiggles and a paci in it and went out the room and made my way to the front door.

"Where are you going weirdo" I hear amber say from behind me I really hate this girl.

"none of your business" I said very annoyed that's when she grabbed my backpack and pushed me on the ground. There was only one thing left to do.

"Ms.Harrison!" I yelled loudly that's when amber looked up and I made my way out the door.

My walk to the park was very peaceful the air was just right not to hot nor to cold. As I was walking I noticed a group of guys scary looking guys to be exact and to my luck I had to walk pass them so I took a deep breath and walked a little faster as I passed by them.

"where ya going short stuff" one of the men asked I just ignored him and kept walking but they started to follow me.

"Stop following me" I said while still walking.

"answer my question" he said then grabbed my shoulder I turned around and kicked him where the sun don't shine and took off running.

"get her" I hear him say I looked back to see the other three guys chasing me. I turned the corner and ran through a parking lot good thing there's alot of cars I ran pass a few and quickly slid under a black jeep.

I started quiet as I saw the boys run and stopped in front of a car that was across from this one.

"We lost her" I hear one of the boys say. "alright we're on the way come on guys we gotta job" he says and they took off I signed at the relief of them leaving for a job. I climb out from underneath the truck and started dusting my self off that's when I hear someone clearing there throat from behind me I turned around to see a man standing there with some shopping bags.

"care to tell why where you under my car little one" he said while smirking down at me.

"I umm... I dropped something yea" I said with a smile.

"Hmm what did you drop" he said while putting his bags in the car. I didn't have anything to say I can't say my backpack because it was on my back the whole time.

"Its not good to lie you know"

"Im sorry I was just hiding under there" I said with my head down

"From what darling" he said lifting my chin I didn't want to tell him I was being chased then he probably would call the cops and make me go home which I didn't want to do mainly because I'll have to deal with amber and ms.Harrison.

"I-l was umm-" to end my embarrassing moment his phone ranged to my relief.

"what is it parker" he said while pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Im on my way" he said hanging up and looking at me.

"I have to go but be careful" he said while giving me a do you understand look.

"Theo what's your name" he said while putting out his hand for me to shake.

"my name is T-Taylor Taylor Washington" I said shyly while shaking his hand and power walked off to the park. Why can't I never have a normal day like a normal person its like everyday there is always something.

I finally got to the park and oh boy was I excited I quickly ran up to the swings and got on it I used my tipie toes to walk backwards on the swing and then lift them up I was going back and forward until it stopped and I kept repeating this method. Then I got off and went to the play ground I ran up the stairs to the slide and sat down. I took off my backpack and took out mr.wiggles and let him slide first then I went. this was my favorite park they had so many activities here even though it a long walk from the ms.Harrison's.

As I was playing with my stuffie I saw another girl at the sandbox with a elephant stuffie playing by herself. I grabbed mr.wiggles and walked over to her.

"Hey" I said to the girl she was pretty and she looked my age she must be a little to.

" hi" she said in a sad voice. I sat down in front of her and sat mr.wiggles down beside me.

"Im Taylor and this is mr.wiggles" I said she look up and smiled at me.

"Im Paton and this is Gilbert" she said and pointing to the stuffed animal beside her.

"Wanna built a sand Castle" she said while handing me a sand bucket and shovel.

"Sure" I grabbed the bucket and started to scoop sand in it.

So after a ton of attempts we gave up on the sandcastle it just wouldn't stay up.

"My daddy is taking me to get ice cream wanna come?" She asked me I really do wanna go get ice cream but I don't have any money ms.Harrison usually go out and buy us what we need or want we do get allowance for doing chores and extra if we are good but I spend all my money mostly on toys and little stuff like binkes and sippy cups which I need more of thanks to butface amber.

"I don't have any money" I told her with a sad look

"My daddy can pay come on" she grabbed my hand her stuffie I did the same as she pulled me to a man sitting on a bench talking on the phone.

" hey T let me call you back it seems my little girl found a friend.... Ok see you tomorrow" the man said while ending the call and shoving his phone in his pocket.

"Daddy can my friend Taylor come get ice cream with us please" she said giving the man puppy dog eyes. He looked at me and smiled this girl is lucky because my god he's a hottie.

"of course sweetheart a friend of yours is a friend of mines " he said while grabbing Paton's hand and she had mines as we made out way away from the park to the ice cream shop that was across the street.

When we went inside the ice cream shop my mouth started to water from the variety of flavors they had but cookies and cream was my favorite.

"What kind would you girls like" he ask

"chocolate please " Paton said pointing at the ice cream behind the glass.

"How about you Taylor"

"Cookies and cream"

The lady behind the counter nodded her head and prepared our ice cream she gave me three scoops of cookies and cream and Paton three scoops of chocolate we both got whip cream and a cherry on top.

"Here you go enjoy" she said handing us our ice cream Paton immediately dug into her ice cream

"That would be 10.19" she said

"Here you go" he gave her a 20 "keep the change"

"Would you girls like to eat your ice cream here or w-"

"Eat here daddy please " Paton said while cutting off her daddy

"Taylor would you like to eat here "

He asked of course I want to eat inside I don't won't anything flying in my ice cream.

"Mhm" I said while eating more of my ice cream. we found a seat to sit at and ate our ice cream and talked.

"Ooo Taylor wanna go to the toy store it right down the street"

"Paton I know you're excited but you just meet Taylor she probably wants to go home"

"No" I said almost to quick which made him give me a questionable look

"I want to go its not late or anything its only" I pulled out my phone to see that it says 4:20 "its only 4:20" I said with a smile.

"ok let's go " he said and we all got up and headed to the toy store.
