I woke again with cramps stabbing my bladder. Without thinking, I sat up and pulled my shift over my head, feet swinging towards the floor. “No, no,” Rolf caught me. “You’re not to walk today. Not until your feet are healed.” I gritted my teeth, but let him help me outside.
