KARA
I’m standing in front of the door to Lin’s apartment. I’m really nervous, my heart is beating fast and my hands were shaking a little as I was putting on my jacket to come here. I’d never expected Lin to actually invite me over, let alone for a date, on Valentine’s Day. I didn’t expect that to happen at all. Sure, somewhere, I’d hoped that she would invite me over to hers at some point, but I never expected it to happen this soon. I’d planned to make her a big dinner and take her on a ‘real official date’ this Saturday, after all the stress of school was over, as a late Valentine’s Day date kind of thing. But she asked me first. It’s been making the butterflies in my stomach extra active ever since she asked me.
