CHAPTER 8 LIN It’s been two days since I had dinner at Kara’s place, two days since we spent the whole evening together chatting about everything and anything, folding and decorating cards and just hanging out. In some ways, it feels strange how easy that was, how comfortable it was to do that together, how we fit together. Kara is funny and sweet, and she seems to really care about people no matter if they’re her friends, the kids in her class, or just people she’s met at some point in her life.
