Supposed Girlfriend

Monday came a little too fast for Dallas, she hadn’t spoken to her supposed girlfriend throughout the weekend and she wondered why Cyd did the same as she took her shower that fateful morning, Rachel was going to be back today, her world was too empty without her, Dallas sighed and stepped out of the shower with shower dripping down her body as she stepped into the room then proceeded to wipe her body.

Her phone chimed and she hoped it was Rachel telling her she was on her way but another feeing crept into her when she saw the message was from the one and only Cyd Adams.

“Good morning love” Dallas was still ruminating on how to reply when another one popped in

“How was your night?” whoa, Cyd is really being cool with this, Dallas thought with a smile and was about to type back when another one came in again

“yo dummy? that’s how relationships are supposed to be right? “Dallas sighed

Cyd had ruined the moment with her stupidity

“First of all, you don’t call your girlfriend a dummy, second of all, Good morning to you too sweetheart and yeah my nice was pretty lonely without my roommate, yours?

Three laughing emoji pooped in followed by a message

“I call my girlfriend what I want. Sweetheart huh? And you have a roommate?”

Dallas chuckled and thought aloud “I guess not even Cyd Adams can know it all”

“Yeah I have roommate who is also my best friend by the way, got to prepare for class, bye “Dallas typed back and dropped her phone on her bed to slip into grey trousers and a white t-shirt and her favourite white fila sneakers. She was putting her study materials into her bag when her phone rang to display Cyd as the Caller ID

Dallas sighed and continued on with what she was doing, she was not about to let her idiotic girlfriend hold her up, she grabbed the last of her things just as the phone rang for the third time and stormed out of the room with it, however on getting outside, there was someone who has been waiting for her quite a while now. She was not surprised about how the person knew where she lived though.

“Hey there sweetheart, how about a good morning kiss” The person who was leaning against a car said with a smirk, dressed in a joggers and a t-shirt, all black

The sight of Cyd took Dallas’s breath away a bit, she might be in love with Dallas but the girl can be attractive when she wants to be plus she was not really expecting to see Cyd that morning but there she was

“Are you going to drool at the sight of me all day or come and give me the perfect good morning kiss” Cyd said still with her signature smirk

Dallas huffed getting out from her train of thoughts and headed in the way opposite from Cyd, she heard her move in sync to walk with her then suddenly was pushed against the wall

“let me go, Cyd “Dallas said getting irritated

“We are not having our first couple fight today” Cyd with such a serious face that Dallas ended up laughing at the look on her idiotic girlfriend’s face and Cyd just smiled and asked with her smirk planted back on her face as she leaned in further to Dallas whose back was against the wall

“Why no good morning kiss, after all we are dating?””

“Dating for the fun of it, Cyd. doesn’t mean we can kiss duh” Dallas said and pushed Cyd away from her who regained her composure chuckling which confirmed Dallas’s thoughts that she was just trying to tease her, then strapped her bag properly before looking up to ask

“So what are you doing here, baby? “she teased just as some people passed them by whispering

“…isn’t that Cyd Adams, what is she doing here?”

“.and who is that girl, are they dating?”

Cyd smiled and shrugged “I wanted to pick my girlfriend up, is that bad. Come on D, let’s have fun?”

Dallas smiled back already moving towards Cyd’s parked car “okay, let’s get out of here before you become the headlines”

“Wouldn’t that be great, then the world can know you are mine?” Cyd said as she walked behind her then hugged Dallas from behind stopping them both in their tracks

There was a bit of silence until Dallas chuckled and replied “That would be the hottest thing ever if it was from a real girlfriend, you know?”, she removed herself from the hug grip and continued walking towards the car

Cyd smiled and muttered a” right” and walked to the car getting in just as Dallas was buckling her seatbelt

Cyd reached over to remove it though, Dallas frowned

“You are in my car, girlfriend.my rules, no seatbelt. Cyd said with a smirk and started the ignition, to press down on the accelerator.

The song “Hold on “boomed through the car speakers as Cyd drove along

“Where are you going? “Dallas asked looking up from checking her phone when Cyd turned to a different route

“Oh you are here” Cyd said trying to tease her since Dallas hadn’t paid any attention to her since the seatbelt talk

“It’s not funny, dumdum. I got to get to class “Dallas replied as Cyd cruised along the route

“I checked ahead, you have a class by 9pm, it’s still 7:30am” Cyd replied checking the time on the car’s dashboard

Dallas sighed “so…what?”

“so, you haven’t had breakfast, have you? grab some with me baby” Cyd replied with pouty puppy eyes making Dallas laugh

“Romance doesn’t suit you, that is why you don’t have a girlfriend “Dallas said amidst chuckles

“I have you” Cyd pointed out cockily

“For now “Dallas replied with a smirk

“Always. Cyd replied

“For no-…” Dallas was trying to reply but was interrupted by Cyd

“We are here “She said parking in front of one of the campus’s expensive café which looked almost deserted

“Shall we? “Cyd asked

Dallas sighed out as she made to step out of the car “do I have a choice?”

“Not really, girlfriend” Cyd replied.
