Chapter 7
Where the Cookie Queen was warm and somewhat felt like home, Sondra Gillian’s bakery the Dough Knot was cold and metal. She didn't allow people to sit and eat, it was in and out for everyone. Becky entered the bakery and looked around. There was a counter and Sondra was behind it. She was reading something, but she looked up as Becky approached it.
"Oh, Becky, right?" Sondra asked. "Nice to see you here. Haven't seen you around, really."
