The Battle Continues On...!!!

26th December 1018 / 2018 2022hrs "ShadowDancer...! Bring it down to its knees, N O W...!" I hollered out the commands, and ShadowDancer nodded his head in apprehension. "B L I N K" "T W I N . B L A D E . D A N C E" At once, ShadowDancer closed in on his kill and unleashed a flurry of slashes on the back of the BOSS's knees. *A W W W O O O O* *R R R A A A W W W R R R * The BOSS screeched out in pain and tried to reach out and grab ShadowDancer, but he had long gone by the time its hands had reached out to the back of the knees. "F L A S H . O N E . A N D . C O V E R" "T I M E . R O T A T E." I hollered out to the rest of the party members to start throwing the incendiary thunder flash over to the BOSS since it was distracted for some time after ShadowDancer had dealt some -25 DAM to it, reducing its HP further. I called for cover since the flash would be blinding once its activated. The time and rotate command is for the party members to calculate the time duration for each incendiary flashbang so that it would be repeated through the rest of the party members. In this way, the BOSS would be blinded for a total of 6 minutes, as MageHunter and I would be delivering a lot of frost and fire bolts. DragonFire would also be dealing damage to the BOSS as she flitted around to get the best shots for each arrow. *B O O O M* The incendiary thunder flash ignited, and it gave off such a brilliance that the air around it got sucked in. The rest of us covered our eyes the moment the incendiary thunder flash was thrown, and it prevented us from being affected by the blast and brilliance. *R A A A W W W R R R* "PILE ALL THE ATTACKS AT ONCE...!!!" I hollered once again as MageHunter and I, bombarded the BOSS with all of what we've got. PuppetMaster and DragonFire also joined in, as the others who were close-quarters melee classes stood at the sidelines and watched the BOSS being pummelled with our attacks. I was casting the fire and frost ACTIVE spells from the Blazefury, Greatstaff of Shifting Sands while MageHunter was using lightning ACTIVE spells as well. *B O O O O M M M* *R R R A A A W W W R R R* Another incendiary thunder flash was deployed, and the BOSS could do nothing but to bear the brunt of the attacks...! I noticed that his lightning attacks were rather basic, but he knew how to coordinate the PASSIVE ones to fill in the gap. PuppetMaster had used his Ring of Fire to ensnare the BOSS to remain where it was, and it seemed that what he was doing was successful. I guess the Ring Of Fire worked well after the incendiary thunder flashes were deployed. Besides, it had a 60 seconds CD time once the thunder flash had been deployed and at close proximity, the Scarred Mocking Gorilla had singed more fur than earlier before...! *B O O O O M M M* *R R A A W W R R - R R A A W W R R R* DragonFire had only PASSIVE bow skills, and I was hoping to get some tomes for her to progress on. It could be a chant, a shout or even a taunt skill and these skills, when properly deployed, would give an enormous edge to victory. Of course, if a team of Rangers were available, the effect would be most devastating. *B O O O M M M* *W H I M P E R* Snowball and Crusader were sitting around with WarPriestess, and they were satisfied to be able to watch from afar. After the third incendiary thunder flash had been deployed, the three moved further back to give space for our long-distance threat to take over and control the BOSS. *B O O O O M M M M* *W H I M P E R - W H I M P E R* -100 HP -100 HP -100 HP -100 HP Before long the Scarred Mocking Gorilla could not bear the attacks that were piled on it, and it could no longer have any LifeForce inside it. Fortunately, in a dungeon diving adventure, there is no STEAL KILL opportunity, which means the last hit on the BOSS to make the fatal blow would not entitle the gamer to earn the EXP all on his or her own...! The Scarred Mocking Gorilla eyes finally grew dim before it slumped forward with a loud thunderous THUMP. Everyone could not believe their eyes when the BOSS from the HELLISH MODE of the Phoenix Delves Dungeon had finally succumbed by gamers who were level 5 when they had entered...! The moment the BOSS slumped forward, everyone nearly dropped their weapons since they did not expect 0% casualty and everyone was able to coordinate their moves like a circus trapeze. "OH MY f*****g GOD...!!! We finally did it...!!! WOOHOO...!!!" Snowball was the first one that had woken up from his stupor, and the first thing is to shout out his favourite profanities. Everyone cheered and danced around as DragonFire and WarPriestess shed tears of joy. As for me, I walked forward gingerly as I looked at the loot that was strewn across the floor. There were incomplete sets of pieces of armour for nearly everyone, and there were also weapons and skill books and tomes, recipes and scrolls among the pile of spoils. I was carrying the spoils and arranging them into separate groups so that we would be able to sort them before we leave the dungeon's portal to reach the starting or respawn point. Once we reach the top, there would be more surprises waiting for us. "Hey, guys... Help me to sort this spoils, will ya? Once the BOSS is defeated, we got 5 minutes to take these spoils away from the carcass, sort it out and then distribute among the members. "Of course, I had to lie to those guys since it is their first time entering and completing a Dungeon Quest and on HELLISH MODE some more. No one would have believed what we had gone through on a single pass and the whole world, YES THE WHOLE WORLD, would know everything about us...!!! When the rest heard I announced that the spoils would disappear within 5 minutes, everyone scrambled to grab whatever they could as I directed them to place the items according to the groups that I had laid on the ground. I laughed when some of them took their time to admire 2 spectres that could be used by a Wizard or a Healer. There were Oohs and Aahs among the party members as they placed the newly dropped equipment on the specific group on the ground. This includes credits, which for the moment, I advised Snowball to distribute among themselves instead. "NO...NO...! This cannot do, Leader...! We would bring you to the tavern, book a small private room and we all can wine and dine to our satisfaction. You are the MVIP in this MMORPG - The Lord Of The Red Dragon and we are not going to let you off easily. We need a plan right now, and now, we need to have your advice on certain matters. Would that be alright then?" Well, it is just a matter of speaking, since we would not be able to gain any benefits from the food and drink that we consume here in the tavern. It was unlike the guildhall that I have in mind, but we need to gain more reputation points, and this would be recruiting more members for the workshop. What I fear most would rear its ugly head once more since I would not have control over it. However, I need to have some people in charge, even though it is a workshop now. To recruit, we need to have some gamers with an eye on details, ability to seed out the good ones away from the bad gamers, whose intent is to join and reap benefits and not willing to contribute to the cause. It is still a long way to go, and this Dungeon Quest is the beginning.
